What happened to the money I have transferred from abroad?
That normally happens when you have an incoming transfer that has been initiated but has not yet completed. But presumably your transfer was a single transaction?

Exchanging Wise Dollars For Cash Dollars?
Highly unlikely as that is not how Wise works. They don't move your dollars to Thailand, only pay locally an equivalent amount in THB.

E-Visa: best practices
Yes he's right. I did mine there in December. Actually I used the VFS E-Extension service which pre-approves the extension and give an appointment which limits the time needed at the office, under an hour in both our cases.

E-Visa: best practices
I did not need one in December extending a TR in Bangkok, although I had a copy in my bag if needed. But my other half did. So yes and no, I'd go with yes to be safe.

E-Visa: best practices
Yes that is the correct website. Just start an application, you will soon get to the page where you find out that documents they want - depending on what type of visa you are applying for they require different things. One thing they will ask for is proof of your legal residency in Korea, if you are just visiting your passport and entry stamps might be sufficient although the website suggests you may need more..."For non-Korean nationals: a copy of Alien Registration Card front-back" The website deals with applications globally but each country's Embassy might ask for more information from you and of course can refuse to issue a visa if they are so inclined. You should print it, makes life a lot easier at check-in and immigration.

Visitor visa to UK question
Should be about 3 weeks from when she went to VFS, so any day now. The visa is valid for use from date of issue to expiry - 6 months presumably in your case? You can enter any time in that period but must also leave before the expiry date.

New Visa fees beginning on 19th March 2024
Yikes! Any idea what they are now? I just paid GBP60 for a single non-O in London, doesn't compare well with the NZD800 stated above. Or is everybody rich down there?

My passport is 1 month short...
Yes. You will get an extension of stay until the expiry of your current passport. Although why not get a new passport now, that would seem a better idea.

My UK passport and Non-B based stay permit will expire on 8 April 2024. What should I do?
- Help needed about the TM30 form when extending Tourist Visa in Thailand
The TM30 that applies to your stay at the time you apply for the extension. Easy.- My UK passport and Non-B based stay permit will expire on 8 April 2024. What should I do?
It has been recently reported on here that a renewal from Thailand took only 3 weeks. However, that is only one instance and cannot be taken as the norm. Nor is there any way to influence or speed up the processing time. If you apply through VFS you do retain your old passport and whilst you are not supposed to travel on it after applying in practice you could do so if really needed, although I'm not sure where you would want to go with it. Your best option is of course to pop back to the UK and renew it there, can be done in a day if necessary. - Help needed about the TM30 form when extending Tourist Visa in Thailand
