Looks more like the plane caught fire when it landed maybe a landing gear failure rupturing fuel lines?

Remember Jomtien is only a short ferry ride from Hua Hin.
Go native, head for Isaan. Khon Kaen is worth checking out.
PS: I live in hua Hin!
kk is a good choice but given the current pollution problem much of the year i would rule it out same as pattaya...

people need to wake up. way to many are sick and perverted and that's why they come over here, visa runs out, and then they figure they can just teach. other teachers, farangs, i'm sure know the guy is off but afraid to report and probably have no proof. schools like the white face. they should be called English "speakers" not teachers.
a bit over the top wouldn't you say? a pretty broad brush you are painting? the guy is scum and deserves to be jailed and hopefully undergo psychiatric evaluation and treatment but to slur other legitimate english teachers here is pretty unfair and no i am not an english teacher but i have known a few in thailand who have been legitimately good people.

This is great. I don't understand why a treeless city like Pattaya that wants to be a tourist destination does not do the same. Trees contribute shade and make the environment much more beautiful unless of course you prefer unpainted concrete and electrical wires.

I think you'll find the central government gateway idea never actually materialized.
i would like to see more info on this i have seen nothing to the contrary but maybe i missed something? this was talked in great depth by the govt and the current internet legislation would be rather futile without this system...

Thanks, but what you think about bangkok traffic and nmax vs Forza ?
I would get the new forza if you have the extra cash. It is a very good bike. Around town i would take the nmax over the non new model forza just because the forza is heavier and more cumbersome.

You don't know what you're talking about. It's not throttled, it's just that the international gateway bandwidth is lower than local bandwidths. Do you appreciate the difference between a lower bandwidth and deliberate throttling? I'm not measuring 60 through a bandwidth testing site but directly to a server with files I can assure you are not cached. In essence it is throttled as all data now goes through a central government feed where all information can be examined for what the government has indicated is "security' reasons. I think we are merely differing on the definition of throttling it need not be from your carrier but it does happen with this process. However, many carriers do throttle as well as sophon used to offer an "international" plan which increased the speed of the international feed. I doknow what I am talking about lol. You should do the testmy site as speedtest is a joke preferred by the providers for inaccurate results.

yeah 20 kms i would do it why wait for it to break or slip?

My internet speed has never being throttled. And I've never heard of it being throttled, you need to check your equipment or software setup. I get around 60mbps on international downloads. All incoming international lines are throttled. You don't know what you are talking about. Also don't use speedtest it's all cached local data use testmy.net then you can tell me if you get 60.

I think driving or walking in the heat will drive up your blood pressure regardless of where you are. I recommend sitting stationary and relaxing in aircon a good 30 min or more before taking a reading. Take your portable machine along and see how it compares....

There's no other leader more deserving of having his nose rubbed in it than the little Napoleon! But somehow ex-bankers like current bankers always come up smelling of roses!
Banks and mainstream media have close connections. Why do you rarely or never see bankers on the list of richest people?

But by 2020, all the 'daytime is playtime' bars in BC will have long been shuttered.
Talk about a road to nowhere.
It will become a major roadway for all the trucks going to "industrial zone" planned by the govt.

There in the USA, if an a out-of-state non-resident wishes to go to a college/university, they pay waayyyy more than in-state tuition. Oh, and the foreigners? They pay out-of-state non-resident tuition too. If the colleges/universities specifically charged foreigners more than US citizens, it would end up in front of the US District Court and possible the Supreme Court as it is discriminatory. The ACLU would be all over it.
College tuition is not double pricing. State colleges such as ucla etc are subsidizing students why should they subsidize foreign students. I know many Chinese are laughing to the bank taking advantage of low tuitions and expenses and in Canada getting subsidized healthcare to boot while their kids go out and buy new houses with millions in cash.

The night life was brilliant, but it was clearly under the control of the local mafia. Then it got above itself and decided to go 'up market'. Trouble is, nobody with any vision and talent was involved in the urban design of the place and it quickly went out of control. The infrastructure couldn't keep up with its growth and there was unrestrained development everywhere. Now its a tip of a place. That's what the Thais call progress.
Hey vegas used to be a lot better when the mob ran it

the solid 10 girls know what they are worth now and can get it. the internet and "dating" apps have changed that.
having only been here for seven years it has changed in a bad way for me. i just wish it would go back to 2012.
I think so many factors in play and number one is social media... attention loving and attention getting girls... many going to singapore, brunei etc..... many sponsored and out of the scene... leaving some leftovers... gals are older and fatter than ever before not to mention all the guys working as ladyboys lol

I have condos in Pattaya and Bangkok and neither is 'garbage littered year round'. I don't see much difference between the two. Sure, some litter here and there but nothing like the litter I saw in Rome last week. The beaches are now being kept pretty clean, too.
take a drive along the beaten path just behind beach road and you will see plenty of trash... take a drive through pratumnak and you will see plenty of trash... maybe outside your condo you don't see any but that is hardly indicative of Pattaya lol
