I have been a board member here for quite a long time but post infrequently because there are so many negative people posting on this forum. There is lots of useful information for falangs interested in thailand or involved already, but so many people are so negative about everything. If they dislike it so much, just leave the place alone. If you can't make constructive posts don't make any. Just get a life. And to the Mods, I believe this to be the view of many expats, and others involved in thailand, It is up to you to help sort it out.

Thai Troops Enter Cambodia

PHNOM PENH, Cambodia (AP) — A Cambodian official says about 40 Thai troops have entered Cambodian territory as tension escalates over disputed land around an ancient temple.

Hang Soth, who heads an agency responsible for the monument, says the troops entered Cambodian territory Tuesday near the 11th-century Preah Vihear temple.

The claimed intrusion follows the arrest by Cambodia of three Thai citizens who crossed the frontier near the temple, which was recently awarded World Heritage Site status by UNESCO.

Thailand, which had no immediate comment on the alleged incursion, claims some of the territory near Preah Vihear.

Hang Soth says that Cambodian troops have been ordered to be on alert but not to be the first to fire.

Is their any truth what my wife told me she heard that is Farangs with Thai children shall be drafted. She that they have all the benefits with out fighting for the country.

I really believe that some of posters defending this girl who is probably from Isaan and Porbably has hooker sisters have such trouble seeing the truth here. These posters are the types and no mater what you say they will always defend the "poor" bar girl or blood sucking Thai girl. These guys are probably sending their monthly cheque to support the ex ho and family in Thailand. I think you're doing the right thing. You didn't want the baby. She wanted the baby. So, she is responsible. Personally, I think you've been far too patient with this girl already.

Like many here, you've been screwed big time by this girl. She lied to you about her age (she's 17 and you risk jail), she lied to you about her pregnancy test and she is now threatenng you? You are to hard on the girl. Support should be 6,000 Baht a month at that rate she will get more than most from girls if the father was Thai.
