What type of hitch ? (square or ball type ?)...

I assume you contacted the dealership already ???

One option is to look at this from another angle and see what cyclists do..

i.e. cycling carry racks - some of them are 'trailer hitch' racks....  companies such as Thule do these, they should be able to point you in the direction of where may be able to install the hitch itself.

I need the receiver hitch installed on the vehicle, which ends with the square tube. You can then slide the ball in on a square tube, or in this case a lightweight aluminium carrier fitted with a tube that inserts into the receiver.

Most of the cycling stuff is for more lightweight applications, and for this type car would have a couple of strap hooked ends to put on the trunk lid before closing.

easy pass is no longer available

they want to promote m flow which really sucks

they send you a bill you gotta pay after usage

Incorrect. Easy pass is the original BKK expressway option, and is readily available at the small office just after the toll booth on any BKK tollway.

M-Pass on the other hand is not available for purchase anymore. It appears that the folks operating the M-Pass tollway (they are not the same) intends to move toward the M-Flow where it reads your car and plate and uses AI to confirm who you are and eithers charges your M-Flow account or let's you pay after on their website.

I went thru this recently and ended up getting an Easy Pass at the booths behind the 25 baht toll after getting on Rama 9 coming from SUK headed to Pattaya.

Paid 300 baht which I think gave 200 baht credit, so nowhere near 1000 baht for the reader. Was activated in 90 minutes I think.

Download the EXAT app and you can top up thru there.

  3. My guess is the 78 million is largely the result of her takings from the Ponzi scheme, and the 11-12 are either online gambling website operators or loan sharks facilitating finance for the same.

No doubt a few will be wearing brown.

I doubt any are involved in the murders themselves, or knew, but instead are involved in ancillary financial crimes.

I wonder what torrent of lies she will spew to the police..

But seriously ..she was poisoning ppl left right and center and expected to get away with it? ????‍♂️

Given the number of victims, now possibly as high as 13, and the length of time she has been at it, she pretty much did get away with it. Pure bad luck on the last one led to her demise.

  5. Lot more to this scheme.

Polar Air Cargo, a partially owned subsidiary of DHL, is being sued for millions by costumers and brokers in NY as a result of the scam. These guys basically charged bribes for brokers to be able to ship their cargo to mainly Asia. Otherwise there was simply no allocation.

The likelihood is that Polar, and by extension DHL and the majority owner Atlas Air are gonna be on the hook for failure to conduct financial oversight and allowing this to happen.

No. Nothing less than 500,000, they always find a way toad the bill.

Easily 1m, if ICU necessary several millions.

The people who think it's cheap are the Americans.

Multiply Australian prices by 3 or more to get US prices

Undergoing some treatment currently, and I can promise you it is way more than in the US.

Probably down to my having great BCBS coverage in US and their negotiated rates, vs Global care from the same policy having to pay what the hospital demands.

no posts for months - then suddenly out of retirement, backing up Mr J ....  You mates or summat  .... ?

The waiting list is 3-6 months ......

I ordered mine last week of November from Mityon and still no sign of it. Was originally told 2 months, then Monday told could be a couple more months. i ordered the Roadsync version, so that has something to do with it i think.

So then it's an M-Pass problem, not a Thailand problem. M-Pass have obviously decided not to issue new tokens for a service that is being replaced. Seems a bit premature but there you go. Why not try and get an Easy Pass as it serves the same function.

It is a good idea. Problem I ran into with that is that to buy it online you need a Bangkok area address. Chonburi province as a whole was not available.

So need to go to BKK and find a sales office behind a toll plaza, and try to buy in person. Just not been motivated to go to the trouble.

  9. They all suck as far as support. For example, i want the back box that is tied into the key and unlocks like the bike when you are close and locks when not. Mitiyon refuse to even discuss ordering it. They sell Honda but have a long way to go to being a Honda dealer IMO.

I'm pretty sure this is not a problem with Thailand. What a ridiculous thing to say. Seems like K Bank are not supporting M Pass any more as it will be shortly superseded.

But yeah, blame it on Thailand.

I have M Flow and Easy Pass and I can still top up my Easy Pass using my banking app very easily. And M Flow works perfectly. Maybe try blaming the people you spoke to or perhaps yourself for not being clear, but you can't blame an entire country, that is just stupid.

in this case, he is correct. Since at least October, it is not possible to get the M-Pass token. Either at Krung Thai, or the service area at KM48 on Hway 7. They, and the folks at the 1586 help number are completely clueless. So yes a Thai problem. No not a specific K bank problem (Krung Thai, the light blue one actually running it).

  11. Look online on Shopee. there is a shop in Khon Kaen selling them, although at a substantial markup. The roadsync version should be 191,000 approx and he is asking 216,000 and probably getting it.

For what it is worth, i ordered one from Mitiyon in Pattaya exactly 2 months ago. Price on the order is 200k. Said would arrive in 2 months. Called me Dec 26 (1 month) so went to the shop only to find that it was NOT the model i ordered. Fortunately found out pretty soon after getting there, gave the manager a piece of my mind and told them to call when what i ordered arrives. So far no call.

So i am paying 10k over list for the joy of waiting 2+ months. Guess it depends on whether getting it now is worth an additional 15k+ to what ordering it likely costs.
