95% said other people failed to comply with the rules, not them then! They have dogs and cats where the rules almost always say not allowed, drive bikes on the pathways around complex's, leave rubbish where they should not, play loud music and sometimes don't pay their service charges for years when they can well afford to. Moobahns are usually far worse though.

Well said : this corresponds with my experience too

The big question is going to be if Comey is indicted and convicted for leaking.  He admitted leaking his notes to a source that passed them to the NY Times.  As this concerned the Russia investigation more broadly, it could be construed that Comey leaked documents dealing with national security.  A felony.

you don't understand the US legal system : don't think Comey would be so stupid to leak classified intelligence because he knows the consequences /  the leaked notes were his own non classified writings which he shared after being fired i.e. as a private person.

  3. A normal cold is caused by virus ...so that no antibiotics are helping

The standard cure is : rest and drink water

For a severe cold Decolgen can help and in Thailand it contains Chlorphenamine maleate for allergy symptoms as well as paracetamol for fever or pain symptoms.

Well, Greg Gianforte, body-slammer extraordinaire, claims Noah didn't sit around claiming Social Security benefits. No clue why he didn't bring the dinosaurs?

Greg Gianforte: Retirement Isn’t Biblical Because Noah Didn’t Retire

Not satisfied with funding a creationist museum that argues humans and dinosaurs wandered the earth together and bankrolling anti-gay, anti-human organizations like the Montana Family Foundation, Republican all-but-declared candidate for governor Greg Gianforte also believes that collecting Social Security violates biblical principles. From the Huffington Post:

There’s nothing in the Bible that talks about retirement. And yet it’s been an accepted concept in our culture today,” he said. “Nowhere does it say, ‘Well, he was a good and faithful servant, so he went to the beach.’ It doesn’t say that anywhere.” “The example I think of is Noah,” he continued. “How old was Noah when he built the ark? 600. He wasn’t like, cashing Social Security checks, he wasn’t hanging out, he was working. So, I think we have an obligation to work. The role we have in work may change over time, but the concept of retirement is not biblical.

Perhaps Mr. Gianforte should do some research about Social Security, a worker-funded, fiscally responsible system for ensuring that the elderly in this country do not face unbearable hardship and poverty. Given that people with Gianforte’s income don’t pay their fair share into the system, it makes sense that he may not understand it, but a candidate for public office should probably understand an incredibly popular program that ensures a basic standard of living for thousands of Montanans.

The man is simply declaring his faith that ultimately God is in control.

So why serve in Congress and pass legislation? Won't God just take care of everything?

The problem for the Thais is the vast majority are menial, unskilled workers who can be replaced easily.

Western commentators are already saying that Western Governments will have to pay a universal stipend to everybody because there simply won't be enough jobs to go around. Good luck getting anything out of the this mob, the elite will just send the military in again.

Only Donald Trump can solve employment problems for unskilled or poorly skilled workers

Given that NATO does not have a billing system, could you be so kind as to explain these fictitious bills that haven't been paid?

I mean how much, who owes what, who is really behind on payments?

I suspect you will have a problem doing so, as they are but a figment of imagination within a very small mind, that once repeated often enough, lead the gullible into believing things that are untrue to be otherwise.

Only after 2024 is there any requirement for any NATO member to spend a minimum amount, 2% of GDP.

Obviously, if you can find and post a credible link to support your overdue bill fantasy, please do so.

And by credible, I mean a statistic detailing the bills, not just a quote from Donald that most of us know is wholly untrue.

Reading this I conclude that there are indeed Forum members who can think or do fact checks before they write

  7. I am going to get  next week the extension of my Non Imm O visa

In the past I traveled so much that I always applied at this day for a multiple re-entry visa which is always valid for one year

Now I do not travel any more except that I plan one trip abroad in August and I wonder if I should already apply for that single re-entry visa (to avoid making the trip to Imm a second time)

If I get this re-entry visa will it be valid long enough (one year?) or will they write the dates for the single re-entry visa as I applied for on the application form so that I could not travel earlier or later if I needed to change my planning.

Reviews are mixed on fish oil.. some say it is good and can be used by the body.. others say no.. I prefer to take them to be sure. My cholesterol has always been great because i got a healthy diet, exercise and take fish oils.

Going vegetarian no need for that unless of course you like it.

    Quote

The body does not metabolize these fish oil capsules the same way as when it is sourced from the actual fish.

    Unquote

That is what a very good friend told me also (he is a nutritionist) but my doctor here still recommended me to take those capsules.

I am taking one capsule Omega-3 oil (2000 mg) a day since February this year and I will continue to until my next check up and blood analysis in August : then I will see the effect on myself

  9. I travelled and eat in all the countries from Turkey to Vietnam

I wonder if there is a coincidence with the love for "hot spiced food" with the need to hide rotting of the food because of hot climates.

I guess if - in the past - Thai people had access to refrigerators they would not have developed the need to eat food so hot spiced that one does not taste anymore what it is.

That is just an office going over the top with their requirements. It seems they are not consistent in their requirements since others have reported they did not need it done there.

I assume your affidavit was in English. The only time it should need to be translated is if it is not in English.

The Nonthaburi office also wants the signature on the affidavit certified by the department of consular affairs. But no translation is needed.

yes it was in English and now we are waiting to get the translation into Thai certified on the 3rd floor...

  11. This to inform that I got unexpected surprise when I went to Immigration Office Pathum Thani with the idea that all my application papers would be perfectly OK for an extension on Non Imm O visa.

We know  already that if we need  income Affidavit is has to be legalised not only at Embassy but also at Consular Department of Foreign Ministry (3rd floor Chaengwattana BKK)

But for first time Immigration Pathum Thani sent me back to 2nd floor Chaengwattana to obtain an official translation into Thai (two days) then to get this translation legalised on the 3rd floor (more days)

All this is not abnormal because these procedures would be applied in every other country I know..but it would have been helpful if changes in regulations would be known easily and in advance.
