  1. on thinking about this that message was cleaned within 24 hours so City Hall must be very aware.

I suspect it is local motorcyclists that have the perceived grievances

To my mind as City Hall has done nothing positive for nearly 6 months now I really cant imagine these will be opened again ('these' being U-Turns and not junctions post #178 - please do try to keep up)

  2. did the deed at 1430 today with just a 10 minute wait

As i posted elsewhere their computers were sick today (my new 90 date was hand written) which may answer other posters' questions posted elsewhere

The farang on front desk said the office processed over 3000 people on the 10th.

  3. The Irish Wolfhound, Soi 4 Partumak Hill, is up for sale. After 6 years 'Bo', mine excellent host, wants to call it a day and take a well deserved rest.

It'll be sad day to mlss a good friendly bar/cafe with such good value bar food in my view

  4. well i tried to camp out on the 9th (post # 10) but the car park was already full with happy campers

    So I left

Returned at 0830 today Tuesday and the office was absolutely jam packed literally and about 100 guys queuing outside

can you imagine just being an Immigration staff member facing that lot and in this heat ?

They are deserving of every courteous consideration in my view and under these stressful circumstances

The reception officer did confirm i can take 7 days to do my 90 day report which was the good news

May revisit on Wednesday late morning without sleeping bag

  5. first visit - 7/F only - over 60 (driving licence) = free entry - kids loved it - 3 hours B330

Does that mean that also foreigners get in for free showing a valid ID ? Would not be surprised foreigners have to pay .

I'm a retired Brit who showed my Thai Driving Licence (7/F, kids play zones)

  6. Not being facetious ......... i got a waterproof cement (2 sticks to cut, dampen, mix and roll) called Pratleys Putty in Cape Town and worked exceedingly well in the pool. I'm sure the big stores here will have something similar or ask in swimming pool shops

  7. Baguette 89 on Soi 89 opposite MAKRO and just east of railway line is not closing. Just back from buying warm fresh bread (which can be sliced there) Vincent (baker) and Anne (wife) know nothing about that.

  8. this area as planted out about a year ago, looked very good and was well maintained by overseas guys living on the site.

Now it isn't and looks a dried out mess. Said guys still living there

Have heard from locals that the grand Six Elements (?) project is now not going head (surprise) and they were the payers for the beautification maintenance guys

'Craig, do you have any feedback as you are on this doorstep?

Just interested really as it did look very good
