Looks like Pepsi doesn't mind their logo plastered on the signboard though.
Pepsi went through something similar but without Hitler.
The Thai dealer that was supplying Pepsi in Thailand demanded the Pepsi recipe and of course Pepsi declined.
Then this dealer decided to try to copy Pepsi with no success. He copied the Pepsi logo and called it, I believe, "Best".
What's funny is the Thais hate the taste.
What a joy is must be to do business in Thailand.
Not quite.
Pepsi tried to buy out its Thai bottler. By a very narrow margin, the stockholders turned down the offer. The Thai company then decided not to renew its contract with Pepsi, and taking in a very large Thai partner, came out with the Est brand line of drinks.
Maybe so, but it still sucks.

With all the problems that Thailand has they are concerned about Green.
Solve some of your more pressing problems and then worry about your Green projects.
I don't think multitasking is Yingluck's strong suit.

I emailed Absolute-Premiumparts.com and they promptly emailed me back and said he was out of stock for my car but would contact me when his next shipment came in.This was his quote:For a Honda CityFilter 1890 bahtSmall cleaning kit set 420 bahtEMS delivery charge 120per setTotal 2430 bahtThat I can live with. And yes it improves performance and it doesn't clog like the paper filters. When I change my filter on my City, I can feel a big difference in response.

Yingluck has reached a new level of stupid. She isn't even bothering to lie to cover her tracks. Instead she is saying let's not talk about this because it could appear negative. <deleted>

I would call it very smart marketing.or do you know any other bloody chicken shop in BKK the world is talking about?
I don't think they planned it this way. I think it's as dumb as it looks.

Part of China's problem could be the quality of their goods. Or lack thereof. I have spoken with people from various countries that will no longer buy Chinese products. simply because of the poor quality. This is not built in obsolescence. There is no pride or quality in their work , which comes as no surprise considering the working conditions and inferior materials. All China has is a cheap labour force. With no real technology of their own.
Same story. Sounds like Thai goods as well.

I am a big fan of K&N filters but there doesn't appear to be many options for purchasing here. I searched online and came up with one supplier for motorcycles and another for cars. I am interested in the filter for a car. I contacted the dealer and he quoted B5000 for the filter and another B1500 for the cleaning kit.
In the US, I could buy the pair for under $50. These Thai prices are absolutely outrageous. Does anyone have any experience with this and are there other stores available?

Every time I see a picture of one of these ministers making headlines, it makes me think of "clown of the day".
They don't seem to care if their credibility is totally lost by confirming their stupidity.

"Yingluck, meanwhile, vowed to increase bilateral trade and investment between Thailand and Poland - to US$1 billion - within five years. She said Thailand and Poland officially established ties over 40 years but had yet to see buoyant growth in trade and investment."
Do you think Poland is not interested in advancing economic ties the same as every other country because Thailand will screw you every chance they get. Screw in a bad way. Most countries will give incentives for other countries to do business with them. Not Thailand, start your business and we will make as many problems as possible then we will take your technology for ourselves.

THe OP states Bangkok was voted...
Who voted? Yingluck and who else?
Quit screwing me with visa issues (among other racist items) and I'll vote for Bangkok as well.
-
What's the purpose of this OP? This is old news and a topic that is beat to death daily.
I suppose a slow news day or is it to remind us we are lower than whale crap here.
-
There are many of these OPs that include statements from "experts". Where do these experts come from? I have never seen one myself. Do they get this expert label the same way they get their diplomas?
Many questions.

Well, this should be a kick in the balls for tourism.
Foreigners here have come to accept the Thais love affair with Hitler, but I don't tourist will be impressed.

Weak consumer confidence, in Thailand? Most Thais I see spend like there's no tomorrow!

I believe Thailand is on the path to implosion. They know the problem and can't/won't fix it and the AEC is breathing down their necks along with the trade agreement sponsored by the US.
Going down in flames. No solution to absolute corruption.
-
All the news today has a smell of panic about the AEC and international trade in general.
-
This could be losing face for Thailand being unable to cope with trading abroad. So much for their global awareness and international perception.
Basically, they can't do business without corruption and manipulation of regulations to their advantage.

"Phongthep has solid reasons to support this plan. While Thai students spend many hundreds of hours in class, their academic performance is poorer on average than their peers from countries that require much less time learning."
It's quality not quantity. They haven't figured that one out.
-
Thailand has no position of influence in this dispute and should stay well away, Thai politicians have little knowledge of world affairs as evident by their inability to control the Southern boarder situation, by putting their nose into this hot spot they could end up getting burned big time, Thailand could do themselves a big favour and mind their own business
Never happen. This is Yingluck's chance to do her chrome pole dance and get all the attention she thinks she deserves.

Funny stuff. Since Thailand does not have any of their own islands being claimed by China, this must all seem a bit amusing to Thailand. Here is a map of what China is claiming. I am surprised they did not claim the Philippines as well. Maybe in the future that red dotted line will reach around and grab a few Thai islands as well.......
No wonder these countries are rushing to shore up relations with America as the naked power grab of China becomes more apparent....
That kinda fits.
When Thailand/locals have an economic downturn they raise prices to generate business. Now let's be friends with the US because we need them but let's bash them at every turn. (Thai logic and economics)

"The burden fell on Thailand, as it is the current coordinator of Asean-China ties."
Lord help us!
Yingluck specifically.

How can you say they are holding their own?
They sell it for almost less than water and Thais don't like it. I see Thais buying carts full of Pepsi but I never see Thais buying this Est.
