same idea ,,,,,
on a Non-O Marriage ? you could keep funds in a joint account .. and transfer back to to your personal acct for the two months necessary .. not 100% but it covers for 83% of your time
I asked about this at our bank.
They said if one of the account holders dies then legally they are obliged to freeze the joint account until probate has been completed.
They just advised that if my wife was given my account pin number she could just withdraw cash from my account until it was empty. This is illegal and they know it but TIT.
If doing this anyway , best to learn how to make cardless withdrawals.
The safe I bought is bolted and glued to the floor out of sight. Easy to use and bypasses the bank altogether. Not like I'm losing a fortune in interest.

Wow.....just wow. Totally awesome. I think I'll rent a room near there so I can visit 365 days and throw water in a strangers face every single day. You can keep sex. This is how I'll be getting my rocks off from now on.

Going to holiday camps in one of these with my sister and grandparents.
Our parents used to drop us off every weekend at our grandparents house in Hanwell. On entering there would be two huge piles of comics for my sister and myself.
Beano
Dandy
Hornet
Hotspur
Topper
Valient.
That kept us quiet for an hour or so. Around supper time grandad would sit in his chair watching the football results and filling in his Littlewoods pools ticket.
Never forget the tone of the announcer. Chelsea 3 ( rising three ) Arsenal 0 ( faling nil tone ) Sometimes would go with him to Stamford bridge . Always took my wooden rattle and he would buy me a rosette. He would occasionaly shout ' Come on the blues ' and I would stare up at him like he had gone mad.
For Christmas I finally got the toy of my dreams and set about shooting up the place
I remember my nan, who had been in service giving us the food of the toffs....kedgeree
Then there was her fabulous bangers and mash with onions and gravy. Hmmmmmmmm
Poor England. Different world today.
Best thing of all was that everywhere I went I was always surrounded by love. Happy childhood.

I'm 78, realistically my time is limited. I'm concerned about my wife being in trouble when I die, we got the 400,000 assuming she can get hold of it, she is a signatory on the account - seen under UV light on the book, but not sure if she can transfer the money legally if I'm dead. So does anyone know if she transfers my money to her own account using my laptop as we do all the time is it legal after my death, it's certainly legal when I'm alive.
Next advice - she says it will cost most of that amount to dispose of my body and that is exorbitant - all she needs is the cheapest cremation, no monks wailing or chanting, no food, no flowers, we are both Christian but it seems that it is only in a temple that a body can be cremated.
So advice please, we live on my UK pension and they are not generous, far from it!
Pondering this myself , and how there could be a problem with my wife accessing my bank funds , we bought a safe which I have installed at home.
Two thirds of my funds are now in this safe and my bank account is kept at around 100,000 which she can empty with my ATM card on my demise.
If your house is secure it is worth considering. If you need the money for your extension just put it back in your account 2 months before you apply.
Just make sure you don't kick the bucket during this period.

I have no idea how much the ladies working in Soi Nana charge these days but if he is an example of what frequents the area then they deserve every baht.

Thank you for that recipe, though I would probably swap out the chicken livers for pork liver.
KIS ....Keep it simple. Too many ingredients will discourage you from making it and don't make a huge impact on the final result.
I use the following method ( in video ) except I don't use as much liver as if you make too much it might go off before you eat it all and I have found it does not freeze that well ( water gets in )
Secondly, I only marinate the liver in milk for about 30 minutes....not several hours. So all you really need is 4 cloves of garlic and a small onion plus the liver. Cook these up in a pan with a slice of butter. Add black peeper and salt ( plus optional mixed herbs if you have them.
One cooked let cool and put in a blender. As you blend, graduallky add cream ( I just use milk ) and blend until you get the texture you want. Don't put all the cream or milk in at once as if you overdo it it will be runny. Slowly slowly until it is nice and smooth. Put in a tub then pop it in the fridge. You can melt butter on top if you wish or sprinkle black pepper on it.

Something else I have started drinking early evening before boozing....
A big glass of chilled tomato juice with a generous amount of Worcester sauce stirred in.
Really hits the spot.

Just made up a tub of pork liver pate to spread on my home baked bread.
Delicious and easy.

I had this issue once when visiting a friend in Bangkok and had forgotten my passport at home. Just stayed at a curtain hotel instead. No questions at all except would we want drinks or food.
Pretty good place with excellent wifi and big bath with plenty of hot water.
I won't mention the several porno channels or strange chair thing in the corner because I am sure AN readers would not be interested.
Car parked downstairs behind curtain, room upstairs.

Just make it a hub of something or other then see that it gets a thorough lauding. That should do the trick.

It's a dangerous thing if it goes off half cock.
You can end up sounding like that <deleted> ' talk Thai with Paddy ' and other similat vloggers who think they are in Einsteins league because they speak some Thai.

The days of doing things in shops when no one is looking has long gone
Think outside the box then. Accidently drop them on the floor and then accidently stomp on them .
Maybe ripping the label might work in a pinch and more subtle.

Here's what the OP should do.
Pick up a tin or two at any big store. When nobody is looking , wack them hardish against the nearest concrete pillar until a bit dented. Replace the tins on the shelf.
The next day, go to the damaged goods shelf and pick them up for half price !!
