  1. Right guys ive just been on to Actionfraud for 1 and a half hours. It of their opinion that someone has accessed the real website and is intercepting both emails and phone calls hence me trying for 4 days with no reply. I am still asking if any of you out there can tell me a way of contacting the Embassy, even Actionfraud cannot do that they say. I dont know where i am, have i valid application in or not? Have i paid scammers or the Embassy? The money left my account and went into a Katsikorn Bank account just like the Embassy accounts Bank. If it wasnt for knowing i have Brit Tim in my corner i would just give up. Do you know i had to contact a body called CIFAS now they want £25 to watch my name coming up in anything and stopping any attempt at identity theft, where does this stop?
  2. Absolutely Tim, so the application and the money are now in the wind yes? Wow what a state of affairs when you cant contact an Embassy after telling them their site and security is maybe compromised but if as you say the scammers have control thats the reason. I know this bud i am safe now with the banks just because of you.
  3. Firstly let me thank the great help im getting from this site from Brit Tim its so appreciated As most of you know if you have been reading my post, i have applied for a Tourist multiple entry visa. The Embassy website says you have to show 60,000 baht in the bank. I have sent firstly my everyday Lloyds account with £4000 about 170-180,000 baht in my account. I also sent my Thai bank account details with 320,000 baht in it. I received a request from the Embassy for another £10,000 guarantee on top of the information i have already sent them. Then by good fortune i was informed this was a scam by Brit Tim on this site. I have tried for 4 days now to talk to someone at the Embassy on the Visa line and the Consular line but im always left ln hold for exactly 2 hours then cut off. I have emailed them on a few occasions to ask if the original site on the net for E-visas is real, they have not replied to the requests. They (If it was them) have sent me two different address to send copies of my bank statements [email protected] and [email protected]. i have sent another email to the Embassy last night asking please confirm the Official website on the net for E-Visa'a is their site but again no replies. I have sent these emails directly to the embassy from government information to confirm that im sending to the right email address for the Thai Embassy. Phew this is long. Upshot is i have just received yet another email from the "Embassy" saying i have not sent them enough information and they are cancelling my application and keeping the money. Something is very wrong at the Embassy, i applied to them only and therefore the problem must be within their site All together i have sent information proving i have i have at least 910,000 baht in my two UK accounts im not sending anymore details regarding any monies more i may have. This problem could be solved if it was possible to have some kind of contact with the Embassy but its impossible for me, does anyone out there know a way i can do it, i have called constantly the Visa and consulate offices over the past 4 days and left on hold each time for 2 hours then the call is cut off, then no-one contacts me by email with my name in the header its just dear applicant which Brit Tim and my bank says is a big no-no. Does anyone know a way i can make contact, i dont want to argue about the price proof etc etc its already been done? I also want to point out that this could happen to anyone trying to apply for a visa. I am attaching the latest email and also a screen shot of the website i used to apply Thai Embassy London <[email protected]>      To: You Fri 25/08/2023 10:12 Thank you for your email. Many apologies, we cannot proceed with your application because The applicant does not provide enough evidence. We have to cancel your application. (All visa fees are non-refundable.) However, you can still enter Thailand with a 30 days visa exemption Scheme for UK passport holders. Kind regards, The visa team
  4. I am in no doubt now that if this is indeed a scam its coming from inside the Embassy. I emailed them last night with the official email address on the Embassy website and got an email today without my name in the title asking for my bank details again that i had already sent last night directly to the Thai Embassy so how did the scammers know i had sent an email unless they had access to the Embassy emails. I know im an old duffer but im slowly with help from Brit Tom working this out.. Going to police tomorrow have already stopped my bank accounts. Both banks advised me to contact action fraud and something called CIFAS because although they cannot now get anything from my accounts they have all the information available to open up accounts in my name. Another thing that was pointed out to me is any Embassy contacted with information of a possible leak in security would be on the blower pronto but nothing at all from the Thai Embassy which the banks say is a massive red flag. Also i have never got an answer from the Embassy for the need of collectively of 910,000 baht proof of funds when it says 60,000 baht on the web site. I just cant get through to the Embassy on the phone its impossible ive tried solid for 3 days. If anyone knows an emergency number for them please let me know This is the web address i used to apply for the visa im sure it the true one yes? https://www.thaievisa.go.th/dashboard This is a copy of what i got today
  5. Mate i asked first if anyone could help then it got so as it was a warning to others, so why the insults? My wife isnt the problem it was the Amphur's office, the boss there just wasnt being a nice guy at all. The thread was about the £10,000 extra wanted even though they had 460,000 baht proof all ready and the website sys you need only 60,000 baht
  6. Well after another day nof being ignored on the phone i got an email from the Embassy. Lets get this clear . 1. I applied for a Multiple entry Tourist visa. 2.The Embassy website says 60,000 baht has to be shown for this visa 3 I have checked and rechecked that i did not make a mistake like applying for the wrong visa. 4 I sent copies of two accounts i hold, my everyday UK bank account with around £4,000 and my Thai account with 320,000 baht in it. 5. this equates to around 460,000 baht more than the 60,000 baht required 6. I received an email asking for another £10,000 proof of funds in my savings account (Email contents already printed previously on here) 7. after 3 days of calling i got no answer. 8 last night i sent an email to the Embassy asking if the email address and request was genuine because i was advused it was a compromised address and it was a phishing scam. 9. today eventually got an email back from Embassy which did NOT tell me if the address was a scam one or not but asked me to send details of another £10,000 to this new email address. 10. this email address is [email protected] as below. 11. I have absolutely no idea why i have had to show a total of 910,000 baht for a Tourist visa does anyone else? 12.I have now sent another email asking why i need to show so much when their own website asks for 60,000. I will update you guys when i get an answer, this is so bizarre, its just off the scale crazy <[email protected]>      To:
  7. Update on contact (Laughable title) with Thai Embassy. Called yesterday morning 9am till 10 am no answer then cut off, then called again 10am till 11.59 no answer then cut off. Yesterday afternoon 2pm till 3.59pm no answer the cut off. This morning 9am till 11am no answer then cut off. seems like they have you waiting for 2 hours then cut you off or until tea break like 10 am yesterday. Sorry to bore all you guys but just how the hell in 2023 can an Embassy do any business with conduct such as this? It is something you would not expect in an infants play school. I am try to tell them their visa site has been compromised and sort out my visa but its just impossible. The person in charge, probably the Ambassador, needs to do something because his Embassy is unfit for purpose Does anyone have an idea how the heck i can contact them? i mean do i have to travel from the border all the way down to London to actually turn up in person to get to talk to someone? If i do go will i even be allowed to talk to someone? Its disgraceful.
  8. Thanks for the imput Barry, i cant get round to thanking everybody but i am thankful. I am glad that you understand the Thai way in all this. I understand the rules bud but its the individuals on the day that say Yeh or Neh. The immigration in Chiang Rai and the Amphur's office in Samut Prakarn are wrong now im sure about name change but what can i do? Argue? If you are an old hand in Thailand you know they would rather cut off their genitals that admit a mistake. It is 60,000 baht for a multiple entry tourist visa for sure their own web site says it but if you read the email sent to me it says £10,000. A great guy on here Brit Tim told me its a scam and thinking about it im sure hes right but i cant get through to the damn Embassy to tell them or check. I sent the visa office an email and guess what? They said it would take between 10 and 15 days to get back to me. Today im on the phone again, the line is dead until 9.oo am prompt then i get im number 14 in the queue how does that work out? The whole thing is a farce bud is it any wonder Vietnam and Cambodia are the new places to go? Yesterday i was on the phone 9am till 10 am then cut off no answer then 10am till 11.59 am cut off no answer then 2pm till 4pm cut off no answer. Today 9am till 9.27am (so far) and still number 14 in the queue
  9. If thats the case i deeply apologise, my head is just about exploding. I did what they asked and look at the crap im under. Its a damn farce its a cartoon.
  10. So guys i don't know what im doing. I have now received a message on E visa asking for more information. I was on the phone from 9 am till 10 am, then 10am till 12.00, then got cut off, no one answered, then this afternoon from 2pm till 4pm hung on no-one answered again. Tried to open the request from E visa who told me to answer through an email they sent and guess what .. no email. So no email. wont answer the phone, got someone trying to access my bank details, got a visa application that maybe maybe not need extra info and i cant talk to a sodding person. This is terrible service even by Thai standards Oh forgot have two real intelligent numpties saying im trying be a scammer, real class.
  11. I called the Embassy again dead on 2.00pm and was 4th in the queue im still waiting to be answered 2 hours this morning and 1 hour 23 mins up to now. No im not calling the Visa office thats shut im calling the consular section to tell them someone has access to their email list before Mr Fridgemagnet steps in again with his rotten accusations
  12. Man you are a horrible individual, its people like you that put people off asking for help on forums like this. Im not a damn scammer i not capable for a start and dont want to for a second. The reason i have a Thai bank account, although its sod all to do with you, is i try to take advantage of the rate exchange, perhaps you could get a very small young infant to explain that to you.
  13. No thats not true the visa process wants copies of your visa stamps in and out of the country they can see where you dont stay IE: Thailand
  14. Mate are you suggesting im a scammer? if you are your a real dick. Im an old guy trying to get a visa, what kind of person are you or are you just trying to be important?
