  1. When you are making a sharp turn (u-turn) and you hear squeals from the tires, providing you are not going too fast and your front is aligned, You need tires. They are too hard and do not grip.

Having that problem now. In the market for tires but I think I will be going back to Bridgestone. 180,000 km am still have lots of tread.

No. that means you need a wheel alignment.

If you had read my entire post you would have seen "your front is aligned,". Now the only way to know that is by checking the alignment. If it is good, then the front must be aligned.

Oh by the way, I put a set of 4 Michelins on my truck and walah. No more squeal from the tires.

Believe it or not, people other than yourself know a few things.

No both my cars when new squealed on u turns , it is due to the hard rubber used here, nothing else.

  2. Yes I have owned many, Subaru WRX , Range Rover etc etc and I now also have a 4x4 pickup for on the farm and a 2 wheel drive Pajero for road trips, 4 x 4 are good for off road, but a complete waste of time and money for normal use on tarmac and wear tyres out at an alarming rate, and use much more fuel.

Tell me why they make 4WD cars...?

    Wrong answer, try again........rolleyes.gif

Hey, I am nooooooo poser, keep those remarks to yourself and answer my question....

Right answer as far as I am concerned.

  4. This seems like a good option on eBay for about US$20 including shipping to Thailand for 2 of them. This is the bulb I think that was the top rated one by the article Seedy posted:

Even if they don't last that long you got 2 of them.

Can I be sure though that these will fit into the CBR650F?

Maybe if someone has the service manual they can check the spec on the bulb type.

Get ready to be dissapointed they are rubbish, get a real xenon kit and you will be very happy.

  5. Normally any water in the fuel tank will get caught by the fuel filter, just change the fuel filter regularly, injector cleaner does work, do not attempt to clean the injectors yourself as you will ruin them. I use a bottle of injector cleaner every 5000kms and my Pajero at 130000kms still runs sweet, I also noticed that Toyota when they service my Vigo 4 x 4 they put a bottle of injector cleaner in the tank and it has only done 13000kms !
