The Pannerai will be disappointing, way overpriced and the food is really bad. @home much better, Top Manson cheap and cheerful if you are not fussy, not for me though. any thing over 1000 baht is far too much and overpriced in udon, good selection on agoda.

For the life of me why do work horse pickups need 6 or 7 gears, or are there so called modern diesels totally lacking torque? 5 gears should be plenty.

The yellow book is a joke. People who have it think they have something special. It is a worthless document which serves no purpose whatsoever except to boast that you have one.

Anyone can get one. In the last 15 years I have been here I have everything I need, like Thai Drivng licence, bank accounts, credit cards, water and electric

accounts, phone accounts as well as investment accounts with thai brokers. I also have a vehicle registered in my name. There is not a single instance where I could have used a yellow book.

Yes it is where I live, also for buying cars pickups bikes tractors in my name, getting hospital treatment at thai rates, registering phones buying new phones, worth its weight in gold, and very very useful when renewing visa extensions, getting all utility bills in my name etc etc.

How any one can only have a battery last one year baffles me, my Jazz one lasted 4 years, my ford ranger 6 years, my current Mitsubishi Pajero is over 4 years, my Honda PCX just 5 years. Baffled??

Good stainless is not magnetic and is certainly not coated tin, most so called stainless here is cheap coated tin. just loof at the welds a complete giveaway. If you know what to look for, if proper stainless the weld will look raw and not coated, if coated it is the cheap crap they call stainless here.
