  1. just go and get a Chevrolet .... powerful yet economical, stylish & robust ....thumbsup.gif

Then try to sell it 3-4 years, depreciated like a brick of a cliff!!!!!!!!

Quote "try to sell it". Who in the right mind would buy a 4 year old Chevy in Thailand?

The only way to get rid of a 4 year old Chevy in Thailand is to trade it in for a new one.

There are no "trade-ins" as such. Usually the new car dealership arranges for one of the tent dealers to buy your car, so it's up to them whether they will take it off your hands and for how much.

Wrong traded in my old Ford Ranger for a new Toyota Vigo for work on the farm, no other outside dealer involved.

  2. Many Thanks for all the help, got some excellent quality and the correct size in Marks and Spencer, not cheap but proper size, find most thai XXL more like L

Are the M&S sizes here - as labelled - actually UK sizes?

I normally take 'M' in UK sizing but seem to need at least 'XL' when purchased here. I've never bought from M&S here but my experience of M&S undies bought in UK is that they are very durable and may last for years. Not cheap but you don't need to replace them too often.

Yes UK sizes not the overstated thai sizes which are at least 3 too small.

  4. The thing you have to watch out here for is dealers that do not pay for the vehicle and hence cannot register it for months or until they actually pay for it, I had this problem when I bought my Pajero, drove around for about 6 months with no plates, chased the dealer regularly, finally chased up direct to Mitsubishi in Bangkok, they had no record of the sale and said it was still on dealer allocation, this was soon resolved by Mitsubishi. Only stopped once on a trip to Bangkok 1000 baht T money, which I reclaimed from dealer in Udon Thani, after a good set to.
