  1. Well done Rip,the heartbeats would of been up leaving it late against the Dockers. Proud of my boys,in the 8😀 But it was Dad's army recruits that added the polish. Thought Parker was really good on Oliver late in the game. The Crows will be a good acid test next week.
  2. You at least deserve a mini snack mars bar Will.
  3. Good to see you back Alex. Hopefully Chooks carries on his tradition of setting up the tipping comp. Can't wait for the season to start to see if my beloved Kangaroos can show a glimpse of improvement and have a win at our new home ground in Bunbury😀 Even if we end up cellar dwellers it will be less stressful than following Ange at the Spurs in the off season.
  4. As much as i disagree with AFLW. It may just keep my club alive a little longer after bringing home the bacon.
  5. We just had a similar experience. It had been 19 years since we last saw a king cobra at our place. I put it down to being a very wet year and the snakes looking for higher ground. Still looking for the other one
  6. Here is a King Cobra that was under the bonnet of our pickup last week. Thanks to the quick response from some locals.
  7. Interesting pick ups for North. The key point being 3 ex premiership players. I think the last decent recruit we got was Jarryd Waite from Carlton so looking forward to what these guys can do.
  8. Hope the recovery is going well Will. Well the big dance tomorrow, off to get phone credit and petrol for the genie as backup. Unfortunately no meat pies for this year. Hard one to pick with both sides potential to get on a run. Good luck to the swans supporters on here. I will take the monkey off your back saying Lions by 9 points and McCluggage for the Norm Smith.
  9. What is his new thread called, miss his weekly updates.
  10. Gotta love big Joe,misses the easy and kicks the impossible ones. Great weekend of footy. Roll on next week.
  11. Cracking game last night, contest after contest. I thought the Hawks would over run them but Port held on. Unless Ken can get some players back i think their in trouble next week. Rip will be happy with the result.
  12. Day time games grrr Missed the cracker between the Swans and GWS. Managed to watch all the blowouts. I predict the Lions and Port will depart next week. Throw a hat over the other four, going to be a good last two weeks.
  13. Well done Rip,great win. And well done Radar, nearly. Thanks to Will doing the weekly updates and Chooks for setting it up.
  14. Love it with the cars parked around the oval. Plenty of beeps when goals are scored.
  15. Ok that counts that out then. The reason i asked is when i fly in if international flight is late arriving sometimes Thai will have a rep usher me to domestic flight.(2.5 hours difference) If on time and no business fast track it will make it tight as the lines at immigration are normally chockers that time of day.
  16. So if no business fast track. Does a retirement stamp in passport count as long stay to still go thru fast track. Anyone tried it?
  17. Helmets will have to come eventually. Now that was brutal on Lewis,i bet the guy who kicked it wasn't on his christmas card list. Not sure what boxing do exactly but did read Tim Tyzsu had to have a lengthy period off after his title fight loss. The best the AFL can come up with at the moment is,the tackler must SLOW DOWN and tackle in an upright position.
  18. No mention of the good job Blinken has done keeping the world in peace.
  19. Sorry gents, got a bit passionate on the subject,
  20. Besides a concussion with a direct hit to the head it was a football act, play on i agree as their is two rules. Tactics from coaches still exist IMHO ugle-hagan took comben out knowing it was an oppurtunity to take out the tall defender to help the teams cause. No doubt Houston on Rankine was the same. Both incidents were young players lacking awareness. Comben only had himself to blame, where as Rankine can blame his team mate after receiving a HOSPITAL knock on from Keane. So one is deemed acceptable and one Dirty exception being Houston's technique was perfect, side on,crouched and no head contact. Commentators say it was not a good look for the game. Well enjoy your tackling smashing defenceless players with their arms pin into the turf. That's the way the game is heading. Tassie will need 60 players on their list when they start. .
  21. I won't harp on🤣 but it is in the video i posted in an above post. Out with concussion this week. Are they serious or not. Common sense would say just make anyone under 25 wear a helmet. Then i wouldn't mind their decisions. There are currently 13 players out for concussion.
  22. Well Houston got 5, Ugle-Hagan nothing. Didn't realise Gleeson was now the judge after being prosecutor all those years. Time to move on and start watching Ang and his Hotspurs.
  23. Anytime it's done without the ball in a players hands it is a cowards act.
  24. I'm with Fevola's comments it was fair and square but we would be in the minority. I think everyone has seen the bump and he is looking back over his shoulder to take the ball leaving himself open. This was the Comben one as not many probably watch North. Watch the head impact. https://www.nmfc.com.au/video/1632226/huge-collision-brings-concerns-as-courageous-comben-subbed?videoId=1632226&modal=true&type=video&publishFrom=1723952666001&tagNames=Comp-AFL,Injury
