Just a quick question about a UK citizen travelling back to the UK (one way).
Does the passport need to valid for six months or not?
Cheers in advance...

Well, I reported the director to the local Area Ed. Authority which then set up a meeting with the director and Area Ed. Authority Director which was..., just as I imgagined "f***ing" pointless!!!
And just because you can tell I'm "positively peeved" & "mightfully miffed", doesn't mean that when I talk to these "c***s" that all guns are blazing!!

I have just sent a complaint to the "NHRC" - National Human Rights Commission of Thailand, as their have been other complaints in the past!

How many times had he been warned to cut his hair?
I find it quite funny to be honest.
Nothing a pair of clippers won't fix.
...and I bet he keeps it within regulations next time.
What should you do?
Take a chill pill, wait 2 weeks, the hair grows back.
If the child's hair was not cut in accordance with School Regulations ... in the future, make sure it is.
Mind, that above is not a message of support for the school but,
at this particular moment, you need to think with a cool head.
Actually... for all you idiots out there, the Education Mininster PhongthepThepkanjana abolished the rule about "strict hair limits". Furhermore, I have always cut his hair whenever his teacher has said so. However, this was without warning and done with clippers!!
Would you f***ing like it???
More information..... I have been living here for 13yrs and have been a single parent for the last 8yrs.

Cheers for replying...., but I was hoping for more info. I was just wondering what happened as a lot of money was spent on the 3places.

It's been almost 9months since leaving Samui, however, I do go and visit every month or so. Last week I was staying in Bophut so, I thought I'll go and see how Rob is doing (tuk-tuk), only to find that it was not only closed, but the other two bars either side were being demolished inside.
So, what happened, and when? any news greatly appreciated.

Cheers Mario...
His visa / w/p was based on work - Non 'B' . As mentioned before he's out ov the country at the moment and his employers have decided to end the contract and cancel his permit.
Once again, many thanks.

So, a friend ov mine is away at the moment, out ov the country, and he's just found out that his W/P will be cancelled next week. However, before he left he got himself a re-entry visa.
So, will his re-entry still be valid when he returns?
Cheers....

So, I went to Immigration and the Labour Off. to find out for myself..... Immigration = OK ,,, Labour Office still refuse to give a W/P on a Non-O.
I asked why?... Because my boss says so!!
However, after discussing the matter for 30mins, they agreed to give me a 3month W/P which could not be renewed. And told after 3month, I will need a Non-B!
-
Suratthani.... and no, it's not a retirement visa. I find this all strange as I was told it's all ov Thailand and as you say... "I'm sure we would ov heard about it"
-
Apparantly, I've just been told that both the Labour department and Immigration will not allow you to work/ extended your visa for work on a Non-O !!
New rule as ov last month..... has anyone heard about this?
-
The 15 days is on your permission to stay not your visa. The change can only be made if you present evidence of ability to meet one year extension of stay requirements. So 400k in your bank account with likely be required.
So, I can change my visa to a Non-B then?
It's a change ov visa... not a 1yr extension cos I will need to apply for a W/P.
-
O.K.
So,I know you can change your visa to a Non-O, But can you do it on a 60day extension? I recently got a 60 day extension based on marriage etc. And I've been offered some work, so, I would like to change my visa to a Non-O in order to apply for a W/P.
If it's possible..., is it the same rules? at least 15 days left on your visa.
Thanks to all...
Om.

a 6 month non-immigrant? Are you sure it is a non-immigrant visa?
How old are you? 50 or over it would be easier to get an extension of stay in Thailand and get a re-entry permit to go with it.
You can get a visa on arrival for 7 - 14 days, however, if you plan to stay longer......get a visa from the Indo. embassy before you go...
good luck!!

Yes but it should be a special yellow house register rather than the normal blue.
I've never seen a 'yellow' one, but both me and my son were on my wife's 'blue' one. I was legally married to her.

Actually, you can take your motorbike across the friendship bridge, but only in the back ov a truck. The bridge was built for 4 & 10 wheeled vehicles..........
