As I am reading this I have 6 large racks in right now . I dry rub and then I smoke with hickory at about 210 for close to 6 hours then I take them out of the smoker and finish them on the grill with my sauce for about 5 min.

Bazmib, Did you make your smoker cart here ? I would love to have one.

Does anyone know about smoking with local wood? I have heard that coconut husk works???

I agree with the op that there are really no true Bbq places here. I remember when the one on Soi 38 opened about 6 years ago it was allright but now horrid.

The Tavern Bar on Soi 4 does a real chargrilled hamburger that would remind most folks of there backyard summer burger The price is decent as well.

I had first hand knowledge a few years back where this person I knew hd a very profitable buisness in Vietnam and he was told on arrival that he could no longer enter and his buisness was in the hands of a party member. He moved to Thailand and duplicated his buisness here. As for Malaysia and it's bramaputra laws that favor Malays...no way. Under Thaksin there was a huge move to favor foreign buisness or at least allow it. If you had all your doucuments in order getting a visa was easy. Getting a work permit was easy and paying your monthly taxes was streamlined...People talk about how corrupt he was . What about now? When was Thailand not corrupt? The Govt running the country now is based on a million party coalition and it doesnt seem like they are getting anything done.

I used to take care of the car, loved to wash and wax it every weekend. would spend two or three hours...Now I just send it to the car wash place where 5 guys clean it from top to bottom for 2 hours and charge 200b......Other things as well like the pool I used to vacum and brush it twice a week now the wife does it......As for any heavy lifting I get a few Thai guys to to the moving and they are happy with 50b........So yeah I have gotten a lot lazier for certain things but have the time to do others....I don't miss mowing the lawn either..

I have posted what I know about this product in other threads and have had no feedback....Is there anybody out ther that knows about JETEPAR ? It would really depend on knowing what the urinary tract examination yielded. There are a lot of nasties out there and one would have to be able to discern what one was up against a UTI or an STD...... I have a vast history with this Non-profit hospital and I have found them to be pretty decent.....Op go ahead and post the clinical findings and put this thread to a rest.

As a former athlete that is now entering middle age I am allways curious when a new diet "Pops up" The Hcg diet has me captivated. I understand how it should work and I seem to understand both the pro's and con's of the diet.....I assume a lot of people will way in and post that a good diet and exercise is all one needs.......And I agree....However, This fad diet seems to be doing rather well for those that need to reduce. From what I have been able to discern....The people who stick to this regime are able to really reduce......I have gone over the basic principals of the diet and they seem sound........The idea is that with the Hcg you will be able to spare muscle loss and thus emerge trully a leanrer person...that is if you can tolerate prison camp meals......Well who would want to be able to extreme diet and not go through all the terrible side effects....Does anybody out there have any experience with this diet?........I want to drop 30lbs and will start on Monday..........Pm me for my results.

JETEPAR By ROTTA Pharmacy....Google it and look for it under Mims. Legalon is a good product has well. It is even cheaper in Cambodia by at least 50% compared with Thailand. From what I can tell JETEPAR actually may reverse fatty change in the liver and detoxify it as well. Legalon is a hepatoprotectant I think being on both of them would be the best. And of course cutiing back on drinking.......I am unsure if you can buy JETEPAR in Cambodia...You can get it in Singapore for about 35$ a bottle for 80capsules and you need between 4 and 6 a day....

If you ask top bodybuilders what the most important supplement to be on it would not be whey protein.....it would be l-glutamine....also comes in a powder and you only need between 10 and 30 grams a day...Skeletal muscle is mostly made up of glutamine I think the figure is around 65%. When it comes to using whey powder , they are not all the same by any means a lot of them contain way to much carbohydrate to help lose any fat....

Google the Hcg Diet......and it is availiable at a lot of pharmacies in Thailand.

There is a product put out by ROTTA Pharm. It is called JETEPAR. It is made in Europe You can Google it and find it written about in MIMMS. You can get it in Singapore it is not available inThailnd....don't have a clue why it is said to be even better than silymarin, milk thistle. it contains Beta Glucronate Diethanolamime Glucronate Nicotinamide Ascorbate.............Dont know anything else...

At glance, It looks like you might have rather large plantar warts. They grow into the dermis not outwards like most. Trench foof or jungle rot comes from the foot being kept in a boot and kept wet. You get plantars warts from going barefoot.....They need to be removed by a Doctor who knows what he is doing my friends were taken off in Bankok and it looked like the guy just dug them out with a fork....

Maybe he might be able to stop her from hurting anyone else.....The guy with the broken leg was tranfered to another hospital as well with an infection......Not worried about money...just would hope that the witch-doctor that I can lay blame on might not hurt anyone else...Sure a shot in the dark....been here 17 years, have the time and the patience to see it through....My posting was not sent out to discuss...It was meant to be a heads up for people......nuff said

This past Sunday, my 76 year old mother suffered a stroke. We were in Pranburi and the local small hospital called Hua Hin hospital, They sent an ambulance and within 5 min of arrival she was having a CT scan...At this point in time I thought we were in good hands...WOW....was I wrong, 6 hours later and after having the director of the hospital on the phone they had a doctor see my Mom.This doctor was so stupid that I thought I would have been better off bringing her to Pizza Hut for care, to make matters worse she administered a medication that caused another stroke, She then informed me that my mothers only hope was to be sent to Bangkok. We arrived in Bangkok at 4 am and the Doctors there were able to take care of her and give her the proper medication..Thankfuly she recovered and will soon head back to the States for surgerey.

What makes matters worse in this story is that 5 days prior the Thai formen who builds all of the homes in our development had an accident and broke his leg on the job site and had to undergo an operation at Hua Hin Hospital.....They had to transfer him as well since he had no doctor look after him and he develped an infection that was about to cost him his leg....

In both cases at two diffent hospitals the doctors and staff were blown away at the standard of care at the Hua Hin Hospital.

Idon't want any money for this botched care but I have contacted a lawyer so that some attention will be called to this hospital and maybe they will wake up.

You could just follow him around with a video camera, he doesnt seem to like them.....You will catch him abusing what little authority he has in no time much like the YouTube video. I am sure they are not supposed to identify themselves as police officers....Then get a petition going and when just about everybody and there brother and sister sign it go to the city council......If the tourist police need tranlslator voulunteers then that would be ok as long as they have identification that marks them as translators...and they stay stationary...If this were the case a whole diffrent type of person would be volunteering......

I have used a low dose of Hgh for years. I have seen it work for a lot of people and where it seems to cause the most problems is with the bodybuilding community....they will take a much larger dose and most will combine it with insulin. In a 1 to 2 iu dose 5 to 6 days a week one can hope to see a much leaner body in about 3 to 6 months But you will still need to exercise and eat right to see the gains.....There are reports of Hgh causing diabetes I read some studies where Hgh was used to prevent wasting in people with HIV...And there were a few cases reported....It has also been proven time after time to increase the strenth of the immune system by causing a stimulation to the thymus gland and thus causuing an increase in CD4 production, somthing that would be helpful to a lot of people.

I bought a bowflex...pricey but an awesome workout and also built a pull up bar myself...easy to stay fit here....but the price of gyms has come down over the years and some of them are pretty decent.

They want more farangs to live in Prachuabkhirkhan City so the place gets developed....But, This idea to shut down the immigration office sounds like a stupid plan since the Govt. is ready to group Pranburi, Hua Hin and Cha-am together..............
