OK guys (and girls) To start this post I should explain a few things OK. I lived in Thailand for many years and moved back to OZ.
I am happy here I get a good pension (lost my super moving to Thailand) My Tai wife of 20 years is pushing me to go back to
Thailand. Citing I would be better of living in Thailand living in the family home since I am 76 now. So, can I get any insurance?
I mean health insurance, and what does it cost? Being a pensioner here I pay nothing as you know medication very cheap.
Admitted to hospital does cost me nothing here. Can I get my OZ pension, or will they stop or reduce it? I do know Centrelink,
will find out if I move. So, my Thai wife will have enough money to cover my visa cost since she will draw out her super.
Thailand freaks me out, it has no or limited facilities for disabled persons. So back to topic, how much can I except to pay?
On insurance I mean.
How and why did you lose your superannuation?

Not sure what the point of To Catch a Copper is, seems there's no repercussions for anything bad the police do.
If you're talking about episode 2, I don't really think the cops did much wrong at all TBH.

Watching 'The Wire' now, and how that is a 9.3 is mind boggling. Season 1 was really slow going, with little to no action. Only stuck with it, as out of things to watch, and I do like a few of the actors.
Wonder if it got such a high rating for being woke, as a male (gang bangers) and a female couple. along with 90% of cast are black, but really expected since location.
Season 2 better step up the action.
Maybe it's dated, but one of the best shows ever made.
The 9.3 is warranted IMO.

Revenge: Our Dad the Nazi Killer
In the late 40s, Holocaust survivors emigrated to Australia via boat. On those same boats were 800 Nazis and Nazi collaborators from the Baltic states, given safe passage by ASIO despite their known history of war crimes.
When three Melbourne brothers: Jack, Jon and Sam, stumble upon a family secret, they embark on a journey to uncover the truth. Allegedly, their father Boris, a WWII Partisan and Holocaust survivor, travelled from Melbourne where he had settled after the war, to Sydney in the late 1950s to undertake a revenge killing against a Nazi. With the help of a private investigator, the brothers unearth an unexpected web of Nazi networks, covert Jewish vigilante groups, and multiple cases of Nazis who mysteriously died or disappeared in post-WWII Australia. The further they delve into the past, the more the brothers are left to grapple with mounting evidence and uncomfortable truths about a father they thought they knew.
A thrilling documentary that deals with deep questions of morality — including taking justice into your own hands — and dares to ask whether we ever really know our parents.- 6

They only dropped the price 95 baht to 1115 baht, 315 baht more than 2 months ago and only after I had a go at them.
Oh well.
You either pay up or look elsewhere I guess.

Didn't seem much in the way of repercussions for all the coppers misconduct. Slaps on the wrist.
I haven't seen it as yet.

To Catch a Copper
Police receive a call from a woman saying she was sexually assaulted by an on-duty police officer.
The officer says she assaulted him and that he’s not at fault. With two conflicting versions of events, how do the police tell who is right?

A true crime series offering viewers a first-hand account of dangerous criminal investigations from those closest to the action – the undercover agents themselves. Undercover agents are on the front lines; often risking their lives to gather evidence that may help take criminals off the streets.
Each episode includes surveillance video and audio recordings from actual investigations to reveal the critical moments that could make or break a case – or an agent’s life. Living in secrecy and often unrecognized beyond their tightest circles, these agents rarely get to tell their stories, until now.

Between bed pan cleaning, mopping the floors and studying for his degree in phycology, I'm surprised he has the time to keep posting his inane comments.
I'd have money on he's living with his mum as well.

I got this stamp in my old OZ pp when I applied in person in Thailand and got them to send my new PP to me. You don't really need to visit immigration straight away, I only did that when I applied for my new extension, Immigration do not know when you receive a new passport.
But that was when you had to go to the embassy things may have changed.
Most I imagine are done online now.
No trips to the Embassy are needed.
