  1. For minors, you will need to have a form 1229 completed. https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/form-listing/forms/1229.pdf
  2. If you can't find one in a shop, you can get them at Lazada.
  3. Thought this was excellent. Two part series. The Real Unforgotten. Detectives unearth new leads in a forty-year-old murder case, methodically reconstructing events from fragmented evidence and aging testimonies.
  4. I either misread it or the article is incorrect. Looks just like the usual CPI index of around $4.00 PF.
  5. From what I read, it's a fortnightly increase of about $75.00. Pretty sure expats will receive it as well.
  6. Series 3 of Dark Winds has started.
  7. Afternoon gents No point in a wrap up or ladder as there was only 2 games. Time to punt the opening round I reckon. Until next time.
  8. Do you mean for a holiday or to live? How old are the kids?
  9. Good reviews. Out this week. When a 13-year-old is accused of the murder of a classmate, his family, therapist and the detective in charge are all left asking what really happened.
  10. Murder in the Family – The Thomas Kwan Affair In January 2024, Dr. Thomas Kwan, orchestrated an elaborate plot to murder his mother’s long-term partner, Patrick O’Hara. Kwan, motivated by financial gain, was disgruntled that his mother, Jenny Leung, had amended her will to grant O’Hara a life interest in her property, which Kwan believed prevented him from getting his own inheritance. Kwan meticulously forged NHS documents, arranging a fake home visit for a COVID-19 booster vaccination, he disguised himself as a community nurse donning a wig, fake facial hair, medical mask, and gloves and visited O’Hara at home. It was there that Kwan administered an injection containing a toxic substance, believed to be iodomethane. Immediately after the injection, O’Hara experienced severe pain, and subsequently developed necrotizing fasciitis, a life-threatening flesh-eating disease. He required multiple surgeries and spent several weeks in intensive care. This documentary unravels the extreme lengths that Kwan went to obliterate anyone who may prevent him from what he thought was rightfully his – his mother's inheritance. The Crown Prosecution Service, local residents, press and toxicologists unpick Kwan’s audacious plans that saw him sentenced to 31years and 5 months for attempted murder.

  12. It's pretty much everywhere. Kickass, 1337x, TPB, Lime etc.
  13. I don't bother with him anymore, it's pointless. He once said that Immigration is going to send the movements of every person in and out Australia to the ATO.
  14. Fear Couple Martyn and Rebecca relocate with kids from London to Glasgow. Neighbour Jan's unsettling remarks hint at a sinister situation unfolding around their new home.
  15. If it's only a "couple of calls a year", couldn't you just use your Thai provider?
  16. This short 30 minute doco was nominated for an Oscar. John Henry Ramirez is convicted of murder and sentenced to death in the state of Texas. During his incarceration, Ramirez tries to reach out to his victim's son while also preparing to say goodbye to his family.
  17. Yep I thought it was a cracker. Others thought it was terrible.
  18. What a stupid thing to say. Sounds like you've had too many head knocks TBH.
  19. In Pattaya maybe. The ones I used to see in Bangkok looked around 18 years old.
  20. TBF, a lot of this type of thing used to happen in Australia. They had thugs on the doors who just used to smash the crap out of people. The government finally acted and now you have to do an accredited course and get a security licence to become a doorman.. It weeded a lot of the boofheads out. That's never going to happen in Thailand I don't think.
  21. The trouble is, they aren't properly trained security guards.
  22. Are you sure? 1 Baht per minute sounds awfully cheap. I think AIS is about 6 Baht.
  23. I'm pretty sure there's no extra storage space for a dead body. Even if there was, imagine the rigmarol of moving it. The policy seems to be putting them into a seat, hopefully one that has a spare next to it and draping a blanket over them.
  24. Graveyard is a dark basement, where a special unit works to solve unsolved murders of women. Commissioner Önem, will have to fight masculine prejudices that support male violence.
