It can be done, but only if agreed upon by the landlord. Similar to someone taking over a vehicle loan payment contract, which is quite common in Thailand. Regarding property, more than likely your contract would be cancelled and a separate one drawn up for the new tenants.

If you've noticed, a few senior BiB have facebook pages with a cross section of on the job pics. These pages are open to the public for the purpose of PR.

Yeah, I've been getting it most of the time, too. The load is now 1.48.

A Provari Mini, I'll keep that in mind.
Also, I don't know the standard price for a bottle of e-juice, but I have a mate who gets 20mls for 120 baht. I don't where it comes from, however I do believe it's only a matter of adding flavor to a nicotine mix, to come up with e-juice.

My Thai experiece In the 4-months that I've been vaping, is that my home's become a graveyard of e-cig parts. I started with this,
an EGO-CE5 twin pack. Bought it off a BiB for 1400 baht. The only unbroken piece that's still in operation is the battery charger. Both the battery packs are toast, including the two clearomizers, plus a further two clearomizers, which I purchased from an online Thai ecig site, are also screwed.
Next, from the same online e-cig site I purchased a single EGO-CE6, for a 1000 baht. The clearomizer lasted about a week, bought another one at a discounted price from the same online retailer, it also went for all of a week. However, now the battery pack is also stuffed. The online shop isn't answering my emails, so tomorrow I'm off to the 3/4th floors of MBK, to see what they have available, and hope to try to go with a new brand of vape machine.
I won't give up vaping, as it seems to be a grand alternative to contracting cancer from analogue ciggies.
To be fair, the online site, have always given a solid service with e-juice, at a 100 baht a pop, for 10mls of Dekang, with 100 baht motorcycle delivery charge, paid C.O.D.

It seems in contradiction--no security deposit and having a valid contract. Definitely not the norm.

I'm in Bkk with True and since last night the net's drawn to a stop.

Maybe it's something to do with youtbe's Vevo relationship. Now, there seems to be Vevo stickers on many youtube hosted videos.
I know this isn't the topic, but I still wonder what's going on in regards to what will happen to youtube.

OMG, you've discredited the genuineness of that receipt.

Ah, the leisurly life of the rich and famous.

Always check your change well from Tesco Lotuses and 7/11s. On average every third time I visit them I'm shortchanged, by sometimes as much as 500 baht.
It's wondorous how I've never been overpaid and given too much change back from a transaction.

Thread title is misleading. Can it be changed to something more appropriate?

you are telling me that BK has double pricing for thai/farang customers?
Here in Chiang Mai, I discovered what may be double pricing between Thai and Farang with Subway. I ordered 3 6'' Subway Melts special of the day. Price, 97b. I was charged 139b each. Attached is the receipt which clearly is marked;
Foreign ** TOTAL B 378.00B
I will send wife in on the same day of the week, order 1 6'' Sub Melt, exactly as I ordered mine, and see if they charge her 97 or 139b. If she is charged 97b, I will take her receipt and mine, and fax to Subway Corp in the US and ask why an American co. with stores in Thailand are following Thai discrimination practices of price gouging foreigners.
Why don't you just email them in Thailand?
-
Wow! You have 50k. You're a rich foreigner.
-
Another opportunity to overcharge foreigners.

A case of 'the ol' dutch oven trick'.

The Truth about Tailors in Thailand
"On my vacations here I used to go to the well-known tailor shops along Sukhumvit and some other area’s around Bangkok. As far as the major shops go you will find my opinions on the tailor page of this web site.
The wool cashmere suits never felt right, yes they fit alright, except the shoulder in them felt like I was suiting up to play in the super bowl. The material felt OK in the shops but there was something just a little off about them. As I am retired and living in Bangkok, I was always keeping my eye open to learn what I could about the whole tailor industry. I knew there had to be a better and cheaper way then to go to the Indian store fronts on Sukhumvit..."

Yeah, there was a thread on here which linked to an article about a fella who waited outside the tailors and found out that a Thai guy does all the cutting and sewing for the Indians. He followed this guy, who rides a motorbike, to his home and ended a doing a deal with him where he got suits, etc for about a sixth of the price that the tailors sell them for.
If someone can find the thread please put up the link, I'd love to read it again.

I was renting an apartment in Sapan Mai. Once, I was foolish enough to leave my Reebok flip flops outside my apartment's front door. Next morning, alas, they were gone. As I walked out of the building's main entrance there were two guys sitting at a concrete garden bench, drinking white whisky. They started grinning, laughing and said,"Falang rich!" "Falang rich!".
Wonder who nicked my shoes?
E-cigarette in Bangkok ?
in General Topics
Posted
Went to MBK yesterday and checked what's available in e-cigers. Found two vendors on the 3rd floor and two on the 4th. Each stall also sold knick knacks, such as lighters, knives, etc.
All the e-cigs which they had available were either ego-ce4,5, or 6s. Finished up with a ce5 twin pack for 1200 baht. Next time, I'll try out Yanawa.
