  1. I should have explained better: On her end be sure you know what docs they want to see & ensure you have signed in places they want to see your signature. Should be able to confirm your end alone, but perhaps better to be safe that have to do twice.
  2. "Assuming I have filled in all the correct paperwork, signed..." If you can, double check at registration office both ends, especially her end, ahead of time, before mail the documents.
  3. FYI, following is my brief written converation on Messenger with Sriphat a couple hours ago: Sriphat: The cost of cataract removal is 47,000 baht per side. Standard lenses are inclusive of medical and nursing services. Me: On internet foreigners are reporting the price /eye for monofocal lense with Dr Paradee ranging from 35,000 baht 3 years ago to 58,000 Baht recently. What factors make the price change? For example, why would one foreigner recently report a cost of 58,000 Baht per/eye monofocal lens. Sriphat: The price will depend on the lens for each person. This price must be based on the doctor's assessment.
  4. Longwood50, As several others have mentioned, you got a price that is much better than any others reported so far. Do you have any reason that is explainable, for example was it a promotion (new hospital or whatever), was it recently or a long time ago, etc? Thanks for your input.
  5. Wandr, Based upon Rasseru2's cost at Sriphat, I assume your price was for one eye. Is that correct, one eye with monofocal lense?
  6. Rasseru2, OK, 97,227 Baht for both eyes at Sriphat excuding the multifocal lenses. What was total cost, ie including the multifocal lenses?
  7. But I appreciate any experience anyone is willing to share about any specific doctor or at any hospital. Thanks in advance.
  8. The current thread on Cataract Surgery has been very informative /worthwhile for me. So, I am asking the audience for similar experiences dealing with hearing loss /treatment. I am inclined to use either Sriphat or Bangkok Hospital ChiangMai (BHC). Sriphat location is more convenient for me but BHC helps administrative billing with TRICARE.
  9. The many different ways that it is possible to write my address is what concerns me. I plan to go in person to ask immigration exactly how to write my address for the online report. But with long line I am not optimistic that they will be both interested and patient enough to take the time to give me an accurate answer (ie, writing my address so that the online system will not reject it). Has anyone had experience doing so (ie, asking immigration how to write your address so that that the online system will not reject it)?
  10. I have never done it online. But, I thought I read on a post here that the online report due date was changed so that it could now be done right up to the 90 day due date (but no 7 day post due date extension like when going in person). Perhaps either my memory or what I thought I read was wrong? Please advise.
