i don't see the problem.  odds are the farang does have more disposable income.  don't you want to help Thailand???  Don't you feel bad they are poor?  Don't you appreciate the capitalism?  Don't you feel you were born into a better place with more options and more money?

200 baht.....  i've given away thousands for nothing in return.   maybe 15,000.   is it a lot?  no.  ok, there you go.

And the poor Thais visit the places with a Mercedes Benz or BMW because they are so poor!!!!

Poor Thais not have the money to visit this places.

He is a thief but a snatch and grab of a gold necklace in Pattaya gets a ladyboy/motorcycle driver a 500 baht fine and next day release, this poor sap spends 20,000 pounds. A hell of an expat tax.

This is complete nonsens!!! Why you tell this BS? Did you ever gone here to court and check what happen to robbers? No, for sure not!!! Otherwise you not tell this stupid lies here.

If someone is catched here for snatch and grab of a gold necklace, he/she will get a prison time not under 1-4 years. Please check the reality before you post nonsens.

  3. What I never understand is why so much STUPID FARANGS on TV want to hire a lawyer if it give a free way to solve this problems very fast. Just visit the consumer protection board and almost everything will run fast and good. This will cost you 0 THB!!!

A lawyer who will be paid from you can be involved all the time but in normal is not needed because the consumer protection board have their own lawyers.

The Hospital I used to use, St Louis, Bangkok, started to have separate billing for Thais and foreigners. The foreigners prices for everything, went through the roof. How on earth do they get away with it ?

No one bring it to court!!! If you do it your chances are very big to get a lot of money back.

They should reopen the old cases of negligence on the part of the mother and the maternal grandparents that resulted in the death of the other two siblings. Never marry Thais, most of them do not understand the concept of love or family, its only money for them. Worst when thais do not even love or care for their own blood and kind, do not expect them to have an ounce of affection for a foreigner. I have seen many farangs with Isaan or Southern Wives  and with kids and who the stupid farangs claim that their wives are loyal to them and are not ex bar girls...blah...blah..blah.....whenever the farangs are not  around , these "loyal wives" will seek out a thai lad, guess they miss the somtam or pla-ya tainted rods! Hilarious!

I saw a lot of stupid comments on the internet. But this one topped all other.  Did you choose your nickname about you're have this sickness?

Obviously avoiding a illegal police helmet check 'instant fine' is a serious criminal act, and you deserve to have your child beaten to death for such behaviour.

This is a very stupid excuse!!! You try to turn it down to a "helmet check"! This checks are also to catch drivers without driving license, wanted criminals, drug dealers, ...!!!

The sun need wroters like you, ...

Well I will have to take your word for it that German parents going to Thailand on holiday with their families would read this story and worry that they may be unsafe coming here.

I am sure the parents are intelligent enough to understand what happened here and don't will worry about it because they not visit BARS/Karaoke Bars with their Kids. ????

3 in the arm ...... OK, reasonable. Trying to stop the perpetrator.

1 in the chest .......... OK, the kill shot. Expected.

1 in the stomach. OK, maybe got this after the 3 in the arm and before the 1 in the chest.

1 in the leg. OK, probably done after the 3 in the arm to slow him down a little.

2 in the back ........... Ah for F@@ k sake. They;re just using him for target practice now.

Excessive? ........................ Yes, def but he did allegedly (he did it) kill someone. So well done BIB.

In the US, he would have gotten 40-50 more shots to make sure he was incapacitated (without the 300 shots or more that would have gone wrong)!!! ????

Make sure that she has a legally  drawn will is the first step in protecting yourself, then life insurance with you as the beneficiary,  failing all that,  pack a big bag and leave the country, quickly.

Who tell you this nonsens? If your wife die, her belongins goes to you (and her kids, if she had). Nothing other!!!

Land & house, if bought in the marriage time (50% is yours), gone to you and her kids (if she not written her will), but you must sale it because you can't own land.

the main issue is that if the land department notices your wife is married they force u to sign a document that states that her money was used to purchase this - and they are not flexible on that bs document...

better to not have your wife listed anywhere in the shareholdings at all

This is right, but in a divorce this signed document isn't a problem. About land the common rule is in a divorce that it's 50/50. Your EX-wife must pay out you or the land must be saled and you get the half.

The signed document at the land office has nothing to do with it. This is just for clear that YOU cannot own land.
