You are quite wrong with regard to GoMo.

    I'm not wrong!!!
The GOMO 5G No Expired package can use AIS Super WIFI for free in areas with AIS WIFI signal for 365 days.

It's the same problem as with NT Thunder!!! Just WiFi, not a real SIM. If no AIS WiFi avaiable you can't use internet.

The True Fast70 I use almost only for Internet. For calling I use my Happy DTAC now for 16 years. But a refill of 100,-THB is enough money for 2-3 years calling because the most calls gone over line.

I solved that problem - demoted her to the spare room, although she is always "on-call". I have to defrost her before use though.:coffee1:

A/c at 22 degrees, thick duvet, full-on pyjamas, and socks. Feels like a fridge when you walk in.

I'm actually convinced that a lot of it is mind over matter - they think the lower the temperature the better.

I once looked for a hotel hack that can display a false temperature on the a/c. You set it at a desired temperature and no matter what the user adjusts the remote to, it stays at that temperature. Unfortunately all I could find is a hack that works on ducted or cassette systems.

I have it on 26°C and it's exactly how I need it.

you mean untrustworthy like backing out of the minsk agreement and nato expanding east to 16 countries since agreeing not to in the 90's... Pesky Putin always double crossing!

This isn't & never was in the contract which was signed.

Just because someone told this lie does not prove that an agreement was ever actually made.
Otherwise it would be in the treaty that Russia signed.

That was a schoolboy error on your part. It has been oft repeated that the NT Wireless Thunder package is NOT a mobile service. Think of it as a fixed WiFi hotspot. You either get good reception or you don't. For those that do, it's great. But it's not for moving around, as it only works on Band 40.

I checked the reach of the NT Thunder before I bought it and everywhere where I'm going it was usable. But if there are a lot of people I can't even sent a line message or look youtube. In my home it works fast but I have a 1GB 3BB Line which I  prefer. 2 days ago I was at a Sattahip beach where it worked great before. This time I not got a connection.
I learned now it's sometimes better to pay the double and get a better service. 🙂

BTW I am considering something like this. What slows me is that I'd need to cover two separate roofs one south facing the other west. The second one being quite elevated.

Also when it comes to backup power, a 10 KW Genset will come cheaper than any battery. Therefore IMHO 10KW On grid + Genset, if really needed, is the way to go these days. But in 3 years time it could all change.

And than I am not in a remote area, where for new houses, the cost of a PEA connection comes into the equation

Hahaha,,, 379.000 THB are expensive!!! With my actual consumption and electric price the ROI will be after 14+ years.

Not something what I want!!! 🙃

I have a custom dog-tag that I wear all the time.  On one side it has my personal details, passport #, blood group, next of kin phone number.  On the reverse side it has "I have medical insurance" printed in English, Thai, Lao and Burmese languages.

And your next of kin knows which health insurance you have and is always available? Or do you think the hospital calls 140+ insurance companies worldwide to check which one you are insured with? I not believe it!!!

A few days ago, I was visting around Samut Prakan with one of my friends. And in the afternoon I decided to take a fare taxi nearby. At first it was all normal, the driver looks fine and all. But we both didn't pay attention to one thing... that is the meter box that tells how much it is costing! We both are just talking and didn't care much about the driver.

After some time, we arrived at our destination (Bangkok), and when we were about to pay, the taxi driver opened the meter box in his car box while also smiling. The cost was about 700 baht! Usually it cost about 300 baht. As we don't have any evidence at the moment, we had no choice but to pay!

The moral of the story is always to check the meter box of the taxi driver when starting. Some drivers started their meter box long ago, even before a customer was there.

No!!! You can write the day, time, way, taxi no. etc. down & report it to the police. Specialy if you know the normal fare is just 300THB. Police know the fares to. They try to catch the taxi driver and will check the taxi meter for manipulation.
