Options available if 60 days entry is reduced to 30 days
I am on a UK passport and normally arrive later November on the 60 day entry stamp. At the end of 60 days I usually spend about two weeks in some other country before flying back and getting another 60 days which takes me to the end of March or early April thus avoiding the cold UK winters. Now it looks as if instead of 60 days it will be only 30 days so what options are available to cover the same period, including a 2 week break in the middle. Is there any multiple entry visa I can apply for from UK?

1 month extension
Thanks for that info, sorry for using the wrong terminology but thankfully you understood what I was talking about and I think from all the helpful answers I have received I now know how to proceed.

1 month extension
Thanks for that my friend didn't realise that there was only a 1 week window in order to print TM30 but has submitted a new one so I will use that.

1 month extension
I am in private accommodation belonging to a friend who reports my presence on line but cannot find any reference to Form TM30, so how do I obtain a copy of that? Also how long before my 60 day VOR expires am I able to apply for the extension? Many thanks for your advice.

1 month extension
I am here with a UK passport having been given a 60 day VOR. I wish to extend by one month in fact I only need 7 days as I am then departing for a tour of Australia and New Zealand. It has been a long time since I visited Chaeng Wattana so I understand that the cost of a 1 month extension is 1900 baht. Is there some form I need to complete before arriving at Chaeng Wattana, photo etc? No problems with showing my departure flight details.

Thailand Visa Exemption (60 days) and Visa On Arrival (VOA) (15 days)
It looks as if the 60 days more than cover my requirements as after 60 days I will be spending a week in Taiwan and then return to Thailand when I plan to stay one more month this is on a UK Passport. However my friend is on a German passport so am I right in assuming that he would get the initial 60 days then extend that by 30 days at the immigration office. Following that 90 days he would then fly to Laos for a couple of days then return to Bangkok and get another 60 days which can be extended for the 30 days at thew immigration office at the end of which he returns to Germany. If that is not feasible how could he cover the approx 6 months (16th Oct - 9th April) he wishes to stay.
