He was just acting out the script from the last thai drama he had been in

when I meet younger guys who want to live here, I always remind them that its easy to get into thailand, the trick is being able to stay here long term, and that its not as easy to set up some kind of business as they might imagine.

I know several girls in their early-mid 30's who have good jobs and they have had to deal with similar age foreign guys that they were in relationships with for a few years moving back home. They feel that they have wasted years on a guy who up and left.

Sounds like someone realized how much money could be skimmed off the budget of a department that doesn't have to deal with quantfiable sucess.

sounds like some one is eager to get their hands on the kickbacks on the purchases before they get pushed away from the trough

very true. A friend of mine knows this guy, and it was all a set-up, with some of the girls in on it also. it was done to build up some buzz about this guy right before he launches some type of online course/programs.

when I got my work permit, a police report was not among the required documents.

I didnt get an email about it either.

but a few weeks ago, I saw on the site that new registrations would be stopped on june 9, and yesterday I saw that it also said SCB easy net would be discontinued on july 14 at 9 pm.

so basically, N started the violence, and then tried to leave when he was losing, but P wasn't having it and finished him off.

The thais continuing to wear masks is totally about social pressure now. When my thai friends or work colleagues go out of thailand, their fb photos all show them not wearing masks. 

Yet when they return to thailand, the masks go firmly and consistently back on.
