  1. I wonder how much money those teachers/officeworkers/nurses get for "getting it hard and usually by many" in those 2 hour movies.
  2. They decensor the video's (by computer I guess), some at the same time of their release. So Thais block all kinds of JAV sites , even sites that just list them , but it is ok for this event to happen.
  3. ^ Well my first intention is a good combi oven , small enough . If I can't find a good one , yes then 2 small ovens . If they are small enough I can put them away , because like I said , it is a small kitchen and a big 50 x 40 to 50 x 30 is too big and clutters the counter. I live alone . Not really a need to use them at the same time.
  4. Good find , but no microwave and also a big one : 52 x 42 x40 .
  5. ^ Yes , I need a microwave. I ofter go to a restaurant to buy food , then store it in the fridge and eat it later . Microwave would heat it up quickly without extra pots to wash. Defreezing is not that important because , well thailand is hot.
  6. Not expensive ? 12k THB. Is that a free standing one or to build in ? No hard feelings but that is a (diplomaticly put) not nice looking oven.
  7. It seems the only Elektrolux that is baking to not just the grill fuction is : 27L freestanding combi microwave oven - EMC27D22BM | Electrolux Thailand Not cheap , only is the review photo's you get a better look inside. Heating element in the back ? Not much smaller than the Toshiba.
  8. My kitchen is not that big , certainly not big enough for a microwave and a convection oven. At home (europe) , combination ovens are easy to find. In Thailand , there are very few. Yes HomePro (and others) have microwave with grill , but that is a heating element on top. This is not suited to make bread. The only ones I can find are these :Microwave Convection | HomePro Online The only affordable is that Samsung 7490 B but with hot air which is not good. The one I saw a while back is not even in shown anymore on that webpage. DIGITAL MICROWAVE CONVECTION TOSHIBA MV-TC26TF 26L (homepro.co.th) 2 HomePro's near me don't have it , so I can't see how it is heated. The manual is not that clear and doesn't say anything about baking bread. Both ovens are pretty big too ! 50 x 50 x 30 , that is BIG !. Of course I want to microwave , but also bake bread. Now, I put makro bread in the fridge but that is not so good. The "bread" from that big Thai company I cannot mention, you know that "structure on a plantation" , is very bad. Since months now it has a chemical taste especially at both ends of the bread. Loosening agent to get it out of the molt ? Emailed them about it , but no answer. So time to try and bake my own bread. Anyone have a smaller combination oven , with the traditional opper and lower heating element ?
  9. I haven't tried the strawberries but the mixed pack of berries is quite good. I don't defrost them in water though , just mix it with other fruit in the blender while still cold. Usually it gets a dark red colour mixed and ready to drink.
  10. And that is just for human consumption ! I worry about the cr_p in the fish in cat food. Wet or dry .
  11. Maybe those are the radio stations Alex Jones is still on ? Another way to silence him , after the lawfare hasn't worked. Soros is old , he'll be dead soon. But his even worse son and organisation will live on....
  12. ^ I don't see a voucher channel.
  13. Where are the free shipping and discount vouchers that are released every morning , on lazada ?
  14. Don't you need to report exporting gold ? If they spot it at the departure airport you loose it. Or is it different for the Brits ?
  15. Thanks ! Saves me the trouble of signing up. I only do COD.
  16. ^ Thanks ! If lazada locks me out again , I'll have an alternative.
  17. If you use Apple pay , you have a log in , so you can see the payment options , just like on lazada.
  18. Anyone know if Temu has COD ? I don't want to register to find out it is only credit card.
  19. Wouldn't it be great if thaivisa or aseannow had a service to bring expats and others together to directly exchange without those money grabbing banks (or exchanges like SuperRich that are only in big cities) ? I have some crispy 200 euro notes to exchange , but not in Phuket....
  20. Many years ago there was an outbreak in Thailand, reported here on thaivisa. (long before covid) Because of bad vaccines , pets and people got infected. The weird thing about rabies is , there seems not to be a blood test . It's always after the animal dies , they take samples from the brain to know if it was rabies.
  21. ^ I read that here on the forum a while back. It made sence that they would elaborate about the tax for us expats (>180 days) tax residents. So I waited to send money . Maybe the baht will come down again after the 10 K scheme is in action. Thai interest rates are low , US rates high. Industry is in a bit of a slum here. Certainly in the car industry and tourism is only 18 % .
  22. So we were told that there would be some more explaining about Thai tax in July. I waited to exchange and/or send money from europe . Nothing about the tax in july ! So now I get scr-wed twice , stronger baht and tax on it ? Great ! Lucky I have 6 months to go under the 800K retirement hostage money. But maybe the baht will go up even more.
  23. Does this include unblocking of certain AV websites that have been blocked since this new government ?
