You don't mention which laptop. If it is a Dell , watch out ! Nearly all of them come with MaxxAudio/waves app that causes problems with speakers and microphones. You can't get rid of it for 100 % . It is a part of the Realtek audio driver . Realtek audio chips are cheap mediocre junk.

I just bought 6W spots and LED strips . They all get hot , too hot for my liking. Cheap spotlight are in plastic , not Aluminium , so cooling is even worse. External SSD's are faster, although with WD passport HD's the first GB goes at 500 MB/s or so then it slows down al lot. Samsung and other internal and extenal SSD are expensive in Thailand. The Samsung Portable SSD T7 2 GB : invadeit : 6990 , in my country , I just checked at 38,5/euro :5775 baht. I'll buy them there when I go next year. That is another 6990 THB they can't tax , when I bring the money in.

Oh , I did book. Not all airlines want to be paid in currency of departing country. For instance : Etihad wants THB , no way around. Qatar lets you choose.

Google flights is a bit disappointing. So far Etihad seems the best with 40 kg in economy. I hear 6 month before is the sweet spot , but some are already full.

In the past I let my family in europe buy the ticket because it was cheaper than buying it in Thailand. But now I have a VPN , so I can be "in europe" as far as the airline or bookingsite can see.

Tickets from Thailand are more expensive, than to Th. Pricing that differs from where you book.

If you have solar panels , the inverter type AC , will be better. A nice constant on , lower wattage powered by the constant solar current with no hard on/off switching.

I was looking around in the specs and it said 300 -350 W minimal depending on how big (BTU). Like now , my regular AC goes full power for 5 minutes and then quiet (off) for 20 minutes. Say at night when it is cooler , mine switches off ,while inverter types will keep turning at minimal until you switch them completely off.
