These are common accidents with kitesurfing all around the globe, just google search and you get 6000+ results. Why is it when it happens in Thailand it receives negative comments about Thailand.....all sports have accidents all around the world, not just Thailand.

Exactly, this type of accident is very common in kitesurfing. I have personally seen people picked up by updrafts to considerable heights and then slammed into cars, buildings etc. Can be a very dangerous activity.

Whilst married to a Thai National and mainly living out of the country with my wife, this type of crime by this type of Farang, makes me not care how strict Thai Immigration are.

If they wish to make it more difficult with procedures for non-Thais to visit this country, I would welcome it.
