  1. PM sent, still waiting :)

I've asked the members here what kind of casings they are looking for and sizes, that's it.

    Just follow up :D

    Gerd

    :D

Wink ..Wink .. nudge.. nudge... say no more..... you know what I mean??? .... If you don't ...

Place your order ...... Gerd just cant come out and say it, It's against forum rules....... the fortune is in the "Follow up"

I know THAIGERD so i won't flame him :D but please don't post saying " I THINK I HAVE FOUND .....THE CURE FOR AIDS , SAUSAGE CASINGS" the second being more important :D

  2. Making good bread isn't difficult, IMHO. And one certainly doesn't need the tome that is BBA. Your results may not be exactly what you were aiming for at first but with a little persistence, it can be done!

Have you tried a torrent?? mininova are good for thier books then print it off at work :)

  3. Why stress over these knobheads?? they will go back to the same rock they crawled out of and you will continue to lead a happy live wife here in Thailand!!

If they weren't in a group of 4 people they wouldn't have said jack sh@t, cowards!! typical Yanks......

  4. I heard from a friend yesterday that a big shot business man was executed while driving in Nakhon Sri Thammarat on Wednesday!! Reports say he stopped at traffic lights and was then shot... any news reports on this??

  5. Better to find out early that your future wife is a cheap w_ore, loads more fish in the sea or in Soi Cowboy, Nana etc... don't waste anymore time and go and find someone better :)

First letter is T and its a noun?? answers below please...

    _ _ _ _ _

  6. Closest or easiest border to get to is probably your best choice. Both Cambodia and Laos will require a visa for entry so more expensive than Malaysia or the cheap Burma crossings.

If from Bangkok I would use the organized service as it is as cheap as doing yourself for most people and you can relax.

I am in the same boat as the OP, 30th April work permit and visa finish!! I was changing jobs as well. Yesterday i went to the office of labour with a form saying that i was cancelling my current work permit ( you will need your tax release form or a bill from the tax office saying you have paid your taxes as well, your current employer will have it) after that was cancelled my new boss applied and got my new work permit 1 hour later.

This was using my original NON-IMM B visa i got 6 years ago, i then headed off for immigration to re-new my 1 year visa...

It was all sorted out in less than 3 hours at the cost of 3100 baht for the WP and 1900 baht for the visa!!

You DON@T need to leave the country.....

  7. Hi,

I am in the same position as the OP, as UBONJOE wrote : To make the change to a new employer requires coperation between your old and new employers to get your new work permit on the day the old one is cancelled.

What sort of cooperation is needed between the two bosses?? My old boss is currently in Germany and won't be able to help, my new boss is here in Thailand and will be able to help!!

Are there certain papers i need from my old boss?? any further help here will be great... thanks

  8. Poached salmon steak with = boiled new potatoes with a bit of butter and rosemery and a fresh green garden salad.... maybe a nice with a Hollandaise sauce of the top of the salmon!!

Too early to talk about nice food :D i'm off to cook some homemade sausages for breakfast...

Never too early to talk or think about food :o .

Happy to hear from another "homemade sausage producer"!

    Gerd

Off the topic here Gerd, but i will never eat supermarket sausages again after making my own..... Please EMS some Salmon to me :D will PM you...

  9. Thanks for your replies and advice!!

Got home today just after lunch and turned the key in the car and it started straight off :o i would say that with the mixture of my son and the heavy rain in the South of Thailand last night the car wasn't too happy!!

I would say that the air blockage from the water caused the problem but after a bit of this sunny waether the problem dried its self out ...

Thanks to = CUBAN and T_DOG for their replies..... :D

  10. Won't start ?

Does the engine turn over on the starter motor? If no that suggests the battery or related electrics.

If the engine turns but does not fire that suggests that the high voltage electrics might have been soaked - I would assume that in Thai heat it should have dried out inside a few hours at worst.

Please provide some detail of what happens when you turn the key to postion II (dash lights etc?) and then position III.

Postion 2 = dash lights are on

Postion 3 = the engine is trying to turn (So that would put it down to the battery or starter motor, i guess)

Would the act of spraying a normal garden hose up the exhaust for i guess 30 seconds damage the engine in anyway?? i don't see how that would affect the electrics.....
