Apparently, his body is still in the Fort Surananee Hospital. 5 days have elapsed after his death and the hospital is still waiting direction from the British Embassy. Anyone know his next-of-kin please pm me.

Anyone know this gentleman personally? It appears Peter lived in Bangkok for 10 years and when his Thai wife died he moved to korat.

Peter died this morning at 10am at (Ward 303) Fort Suranaree Hospital (Korat) In case anyone has information regarding Peter's next of kin, please ask them to contact the hospital immediately 044-234359 and 044-234529.

Shame on theese people, super rich but they still want more, in this case cheeting the government out of rightful tax money. They seem to forget that the government is in fact the people so they steal from the people. And how many times do we hear, the person investigated is moved to an inactive position, after a few months the case is forgotten, a small guy in the scam get a slap on the hands and life goes on. After all the commites put together to look into corruption the last 30 yrs, nothing has come of it, absolutly nothing. To day the corruption is worse than ever. Whatever happend to that government guy moved to an inactive position in the government office. Under a break in in his house, the thiefs found so much money in his house that they couldnt carry it out to the car. He could not explain where all the millions came from. Probably still working inactive position in government offices. How can the thais ever hope to get rid of graft when the system is working like this.

These people are just taking back what they have purportedly paid (taxes) to government.

Waited for 25 days, finally received call this morning from Singapore Embassy Bangkok that my renewed passport has arrived and I may collect it anytime during office hour.

This one is one of a secular sick brain who has no feeling about religion ....

My new passport will only be ready before end of this month. Despite of this, I have no other alternative but went to Chong Chom this morning to extend my stay; everything went fine without a hitch. Immigration officers were very friendly on both sides.

OMG ... sure?

If I'm going to ChongChom this coming Sunday, I may have problems with Cambodia immigration because balance validity of my passport is only 3 months 17 days only. Cambodia requirement is 4 months.

My question is I'm not staying in Cambodia, just need them to stamp my passport for arrival and department only. Perhaps need to pay some monies for this ...

What is your opinion on this?

Yes, I'm going early (0500am) tomorrow morning.

Embassy operate from 0900 to 1200, not enough time because I stay in Korat. The travelling time is approximately 4 hours.

The Embassy accepts applications for Singapore International Passports. These applications will be referred to the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) for processing. The Embassy also extends Singapore passports. Relevant application forms are available at the Embassy.

Currently I do not hold any visa hence I am extending my stay every 15 days.

Does anybody have any experience with regards to renewing a Singapore passport at the Singapore Embassy in Bangkok? How long does it take?

The issue is that my passport has less than 6 months validity (balance 3 months = 20 days) and I am going to Cambodia (ChongChom) this coming Sunday to extent my stay in Thailand and obviously I need to renew my passport urgently. The only other way I can see is to get my passport renew in Bangkok, Thailand. What do you think? is that a faster/workable solution?

I do not have the time available to travel back to Singapore to renew my biometric passport which cannot be processed and collected within the same day.

Any pointers will be appreciated.
