Its not hard to know what kind of waste they produce,,,Wheeee, whats that smell?
-
Tourists should try avoid the Thai roads, forget the cycle lanes, put the money towards the orphanages.
-
I doubt they get the proper training on how to operate these vehicles, now here in the uk all bus and truck drivers have a CPC card, which training has been given.Cranes, cement trucks, huge coaches etc, do the drivers of these vehicles undergo specific training and licensing?
If the brakes 'failed' or not, criminal action should be taken.
-
Yeah, blame a faulty cable, its more than likely the lack of maintenance i would say.
-
So to hell with governments and their screwing of hard working people, take all you can,and when you can,coz these corrupt governments are doing exactly the same.

All down to lack of vehicle maintenance i reckon,ie,brake failure, more than likely a maintenance issue, maintenance is an ugly word in Thailand.

1 million baht plus truck? At that estimated figure, indicators were probably an optional extra. How can they not know who is driving the truck. Are they proposing that they give the keys of a 1 million baht plus truck to a total stranger. And what happens when his salary is due. Do they leave it on the shelf and wait for the mystery man to claim it in the night. Here's an idea....... try ringing the number on the truck that has letters a foot tall. Who ever answers...........ask them his name.
Morons.

Mmmmm,those damn "Burmese"truck drivers.

Yeah i agree, they have almost all disappeared, have they all gone to entertain abroad....yes i think so.A lot of aging and played out entertainers now.But really.... If Thailand wants to hang on to the one thing it rates high on it needs to do something regarding the recent quality of the entertainers. Most are past their shelf life if you know what I mean...
Just saying

you were ripped off big time, but you will learn by your mistakes,as in sure most people on this forum did on their visits to Thailand.I'm new is 3000 expensive from airport to centre of Bangers? It seemed a bit to me but I'm a little bit lost with money as thought it were like 15 quid but it's 60 I keep convertin wrong way.

not much, and like the sole of an old boot.Do Thai cattle have any meat on them?

-
Good point, very little quality meat on them, pathetic looking creatures, then again, they mostly graze just about anything, fields for grazing aren't exactly abundant there, not like here in Ireland.i guess they got no choice but to graze their cattle anywhere they can,ie,along the roads, anywhere.Do Thai cattle have any meat on them?
-
Yes indeed, ive seen this happen for real, when i married, two cattle were purchase for the ceremony feast, these cattle were slaughtered in the dead of night at a neighbouring village,i witnessed the slaughter and eating of the liver, kidneys, etc, being dipped into some kind of chilli sauce, and eaten, the organs were still warm, the steam was actually still coming from them,so yes they do eat raw cattle.Does people eat raw Thai cattle meat?
Ho no, no, no!
Saw a travel documentary on a cultural thing with killing a cow and eating it while it's being cut up and cleaned. Didn't look very appealing. Somewhere up North or NE, forget where it was.
