  1. Pretty much like spending a wet Sunday afternoon in Rotherham, I'd imagine

I didn't realise Rotherham could be so much fun.... :D:o

There is a secret Korat that only we who live here know about... :D:D

  2. Not at all. The bub will sort it quickly ( and be unaccented in both languages )  :D

Hope you are right Doc! :o !

Our 9 month old son is being spoken to in the same way as Baby Beach. :D

  3. i dont have  any  life  partner yet ..but if i had a  chance...these are my criteria

    ...

    9 no BDSM..

    Bugger! So close...

    :o:D

Have to agree with those who say LOVE..... :D

My wife is 32, I am 55 but that doesn't matter to either of us.

She left school at 13 because she had to work, the family were poor then. They are much better off now and not because of me but by their own hard work and ability.

Nonetheless she is a very clever lady and constantly tries to improve herself, not for me but for her own sake.

She is caring, loyal, loving and totally committed to a successful marriage...... :D

Now we have a gorgeous 9 month old son and she is a fantastic mum! :D !

To answer the OP I had no criteria, I just fell in love....... :D

  4. Thanks for the info people. Mrs Bojangles will hopefully be coming over in the next week or so, alone. And i wouldn't want her going through that when she arrives. Where can she get it done? Is there any other advice, that would be useful to know?  :o

Any Private Hospital will do it for her.

If there are none in Chaiyaphum, then get her to go to either St Mary's or Ratchasima Thonburi in Korat.

Good luck for her arrival :D

    May England win -

    The Australians will grovel

On this, the final day, just wanted to remind you off a quote I made on page 1, back on July 19th.

In 8 hours the Ashes are ours. This was always inevitable - from the very beginning.

Don't speak too soon. We can still lose it :D

Indeed we can still lose it! :D !

Talk about snatching defeat from the jaws of victory...... :o

If we leave the Aussies with less than 200 to make and more than 3 hours to bat it could well end in disaster!!!!! :D

  6. Hey, but how do Thai girls know for instance if a foreigner is has a good personality in the first place? They must be attracted to something else in the first place like opposite cultures or money.

Right on Fanta. you're right on the mark with that but don't tell Siam & others who think same. Those dudes have captured Thai chicks from day one with their looks, charm and wit; cash was never ever a factor

    Again, how would you know?

What makes you think that YOU know of all farang/Thai relationships, that 95% are based on money? Like I said before, yeah sure SOME are. It's like saying all farang's are rich / all Thai are poor, simply not true!

    Rj

hey, don't worry, he is not too smart

he even thinks I am a dude (?)

I think most Thai "chicks" he has met are the Katoeey type, but I don't hold that against him :D

    You don't...... :D

But I bet they do........... :o

  7. As a Thai man, responding to the topic, I DON"T feel bother by farang+thai lady abit.

It's a normal thing here...  I believes it had a lot to do with our culture.

Of course, we think all farangs are rich. You have to understand most of Thai people are poor. It's a good thing if you have a farang husband because financially your life will be better.  I'm sure some of your money are going toward her family and their lives are better because of you. Traditionally, when we are grown up, Bangkok is where go to works and send some money home to our family. If you have a farang husband you might not even have to work and beable to send some money home. I mentions a lot about the money, but this doesn't means your wife doesn't love you and not all Thai married you because of your assets. I'm sure some farangs might wonder about interracial in Thailand, because where you came from the culture is different.

We don't have racial problem here in Thailand:D

You may not have racial problems with Farangs here but you most certainly have a Thai on Thai racial problem.

The Chinese Thai and the rich Thai from Krung Thep most certainly look down on the people of Isaan and the South of Thailand.

I am not saying all Chinese or rich Thai are like that but the majority are.

Just look at the way your country is run on a "Jobs for the Boys" basis. It is your connections that get you a good job not your ability. Nepotism and racism are rife here.

Why do you think that sales of whitening creams run into billions of Baht a year, purchased by people who can ill afford them. It is not because "White is Beautiful", it is so these ladies are not instantly recognisable as being from the poor parts of Thailand.

Forgive my rant, it is just my 2 satangs worth and I know it is :o

  8. Thanks all for advices.

My wife called Toyota Thonburi , the seller also offered only 5,000 baht too but we can have the car in about 2 months.

Did you have to wait longer?

Are you satisfy with the Fortuner as well?

What about the insurance , how much for that?

    Cheers

I have the manual Diesel and am very happy with it.

It drives very well, has a lot of power and is very sturdy.

I paid about 25,000 Baht for top of the range insurance. Be very wary of cheap insurances as they do not give adequate cover.

I pre-ordered mine and got the 1st to arrive in Korat. 2 months seems pretty fast especially if you are getting the Diesel model.

Enjoy, when it arrives. :o .

  9. Also the young thai men resentment. You would feel the same, if a few (like 100k foreigners) 50-year old dudes are stealing your young girls just because they got cash and you dont. I feel the same way. Or how would you feel that you wanted something that you've been waiting 19 years for. And only to find out that everytime you go to Thailand you'll see another foreign-thai couple popping out of the ground, while your stuck in your country for another 5-6-10 years. How would you feel if you think you got the looks, the brains, the talent and the personality but due to some reasons you never going to get that girl you'll always wanted, while some hairy 80 year old guy is pointing fingers and laughing at you with his fresh 18 year old girl.  :D

oh you poor sick boy! I am so sorry for you, so handsome, so brainy, talented and lots of personality. Why can't you get a nice girl? and those awful farang can?

and you sound so angry, so jealous and resentful too, maybe a little paranoid thrown in.

I think those last characters are the ones that any woman, from any country, would run a mile from. You start to sound like my first b/f, a controlling and very jealous man. Nice to start, then almost psycho as time went on, frightening.

Any man must respect his g/f or wife, without that, you are nothing. Maybe those 80 year old men give that to the g/fs, not money.

so get help, become more relaxed and be generous with yourself.

    :o:D

Sorry SiamOne but I think cash changes hands too! :D !

  10. I could'nt care less what anyone thinks to be honest! :D

Thai or English like myself it does'nt matter to me, She is my wife!

    :D

    Agree with you 100% Dave.

I don't recall any resentment towards me from Thais for being a Farang married to a Thai.

My wife is 32 so maybe that makes a difference. I can imagine a lot of resentment from young Thai men if I was married to an 18 year old. :o

Where we live, in rural Korat, I am treated same same but not same :D
