US Economy Races Ahead While UK Struggles to Keep Pace
spidermike007 replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Though GDP per capita is not a flawless measure of individual prosperity. Ha. This is highly misleading information as the cost of living in the US has increased to such a dramatic extent. Never before have Americans struggled like they are right now (except during the great depression). Many have two to three jobs and are barely making ends meet, the homeless population is surging like never before, houseless population (which comprises those who choose not to rent anymore and would rather live in their vehicles, than pay $3000 for a bungalow, or small apartment in major cities) is estimated to be as high as 5 million people. Unless you own a home free and clear in America these days, or are earning over $400,000 a year, you are basically screwed. The quality of life in America has declined so dramatically the nation is barely recognizable to those of us who go back and forth. So these kind of studies are almost completely useless. And with these ridiculous new Trump policies it's only going to get worse. America is on a precipitous decline and these new policies are only going to exacerbate that decline.- 83 replies

There's no question that the party needs to be completely disbanded, completely reorganized, and completely rebranded. It's a pretty easy thing to do with this point when compared to the absolute fools that are in control at the moment. The trick is to give it some time as there's no question that the GOP will begin to unravel, with falling poll numbers, as people start to realize just how destructive Trump's policies are.

Inside Thailand's Market Boom: Largest Investment in a Decade
spidermike007 replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
I think a lot of foreign investment that might be taking place in Thailand now is about trying to avoid the super dumb and arrogant tariffs that the US is imposing throughout the world. Thailand produced products would likely be at a lower tax rate when imported into the ignorant US, which is currently being run by very ignorant fools. -
As if the dangers on the roads here needed to be highlighted. The primary reason is the toy police force. Nobody, and I mean nobody takes these guys seriously. There is absolutely nothing in the way of a deterrent here, and both the local governments, the central government and the police do not take traffic safety seriously. Not even one iota. The safety of the public means less than zero to the small men in charge here. Nothing. They show that on a daily basis. They will not do a thing. Why? They do not care about the people one iota. Not the common people. Not the average pleb. No way. Never have cared, and may never care in the future. It is all about protecting the elite, the super wealthy, those that are connected, and those in power. The rest of the population? They do not matter. The ex-pat community does not matter. And the police will not get involved unless an accident has already occurred. There is no prevention. None. The idea of getting the police more involved, is an interesting one, and it would be an effective one. But, the issue is money. They are grossly underpaid, and until the government steps up, and spends the trillion baht on updating the police equipment, and paying each cop a living wage, it is not going to happen. Until then, they will just work the franchise. The only way to survive here on the road, is to be patient, have eyes in the back of your head, drive with caution, and always, and I mean always watch out of the other guy. Chances are, he does not have much driving skill, nor patience, nor reason, nor common sense. You cannot be too careful on the road here. Especially considering that the toy police offer no traffic safety, prevention, enforcement of the law, or concern toward the prosecution of very reckless drivers.

Thais Express Discontent with Government and PM in New Poll
spidermike007 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
I don't believe that is correct, Move Forward won more votes and seats, however Pita was disqualified due to the fabrication of the share issue. He is the leader that the people wanted. And he is the one that would have been most capable of leading Thailand in a forward direction. -
Trump has engaged in multiple failures over his first six weeks in office, and he'll do anything at this point to deflect and distract people as his poll numbers continue to drop, even amongst his supporters. The man is simply in no position to lecture anyone about morality as he is the most morally bankrupt president America's has ever had, and he makes Richard Nixon look like an honorable Boy Scout.

I watched the entire 46 minute interview and I do have to admit that Zelensky was unusually direct and unusually critical of Trump. However nothing that he said was untrue and what he said was quite accurate. The problem was that Trump is not accustomed to being confronted and though Trump and Vance likely set up the oval office interview as a way to ambush Zelensky, in the end Zelensky ended up ambushing Trump and Vance. He made them both lose their cool, and they looked utterly foolish on the world stage. It was probably not smart for him to mouth off to Trump like that, as he knew it wouldn't end well, but my presumption is that he had no interest in giving away half of Ukraine's mineral wealth which is worth over a trillion dollars, in exchange for the repayment of $130 billion dollars worth debt. It was a very bad deal for Ukraine and I think Zelensky played it smart. He is likely garnering tremendous sympathy around the world and my guess is that the EU and other nations will step in and take the place of the US in terms of aid to Ukraine. In return us influence is diminishing by the day, but that's just big Don isn't it? The goon squad are in the process of engaging in damage repair right now, by using really ridiculous PR like the criticism of the Zelensky's outfit disrespecting the oval office, and other garbage like that. The bottom line is the White House is embarrassed regardless of what they say, and they look like a petty little amateur squad in the eyes of the entire world.

China Rebukes Critics of Thailand's Uyghur Repatriation Decision
spidermike007 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
While it is true that many other countries do practice similar types of repatriation, there are very few countries that harvest the organs of those who have been returned, or lock them up in very harsh concentration camp type conditions. The very heinous CCP is quite unique in that regard, they kind of set the standard for mistreatment of those that don't tow the party line, and those that don't believe in the Han traditions and homogenous way of life. -
British Tourist Knocked Out by Pattaya Club Bouncer
spidermike007 replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
All we know is that according to the video the guy attempted to push the security guard, that's no reason to hit somebody so hard that you knock them down. There are a dozen other things that this guy could have done to de-escalate the situation, and he should have been trained in the art of de-escalation. Just a swift slap across the face could have worked. Anytime you punch somebody hard enough to knock them to the ground you run the risk of killing them. You just never know how that head is going to land on the pavement, and death is an occasional occurrence, once that happens. So you could say this was attempted murder in the broadest sense. In the most literal sense it was sheer stupidity and a massive level of overreaction, which deserves severe punishment to both the security guard and the owner of the club. -
Is Trump a Russian Asset, Controlled by Putin
spidermike007 replied to Yagoda's topic in Political Soapbox
It is very likely that Putin has a significant amount of kompromat on the American goon. Regardless, Trump adores dictators, and despots and he has a great deal of dislike for democratically elected leaders and allies. So he plays right into the serial killing, genocidal Putin's hands one way or the other. -
But when he is dealing with men that are morally bankrupt like Trump and Vance, all they have is PR, all they have is a nasty retort. These are men who have absolutely no substance, and are completely lost. The world saw who Trump and Vance truly are, and it was horrifying for billions around the world to see that. They have been outed by their displays of extreme arrogance and their total lack of personal discipline.

When Donald Trump was watching his 16-year-old daughter Ivanka host the 1997 Miss Teen USA pageant, he turned to the then-Miss Universe and asked: “Don’t you think my daughter’s hot? She’s hot, right?” In the almost 20 years since, Mr Trump has called his eldest daughter “voluptuous”. He’s said it’s OK to describe her as “a piece of ass”, though she is a senior executive in his business empire. And he’s said that, if she wasn’t his daughter, “perhaps [he’d] be dating her”. Rolling Stone interview, September 2015 “After I met Ivanka and praised her to her father, he said, ‘Yeah, she's really something, and what a beauty, that one. If I weren't happily married and, ya know, her father . . .’”

Zelensky should be demanding an apology from Vance and Trump for that ridiculous ambush that they staged for the cameras. It was a new low for America, and perhaps the least presidential diplomatic mission in the history of the nation. Though it may not have been smart on his part, it was sure nice to see a leader standing up to the nasty, arrogant fool.

I think Trump wakes up in the morning each and every day and he says to himself what can I do today that will be completely ridiculous and completely stupid? What can I do today to shake up the world order and make the planet infinitely less stable? Oh how about Afghanistan? I forgot they completely kicked our butts the first time around, but I'm sure that they'll be very willing to deal with me, because I'm the greatest man who's ever lived, and how can they resist my charm? Besides, I'm offering them money, who could possibly refuse my money? I am sure that many investors will line up to take advantage of a very stable investment in one of the world's least stable countries. What can one say? It's just the goon behaving like a goon, it's just another day in America.

Thais Express Discontent with Government and PM in New Poll
spidermike007 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
First of all this is not a democratically elected government and Thailand is not a democracy. Secondarily this Administration has done absolutely nothing for the people and all they're doing is representing the interests of the army, the autocrats, and the billionaires. The young pm has always been completely out of her element, and her level of ineffectiveness is only match by the Goomba overseas. -
Anutin Silent on Thailand's Deportation of Uyghurs to China
spidermike007 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
This is a man that presided over 9 years of the Prayuth Administration, which resulted in absolute and utter decimation of the Thai economy. This man should never have been allowed anywhere near politics, and should be banished from the landscape entirely. Of course he's not saying anything, his level of moral bankruptcy is astonishing. He represents autocrats and billionaires, that's all he does, he does absolutely no work for the people, ever. He is the poster child for the empty suit crowd. -
What this spectacularly ignorant bully does not seem to understand is that the US would seize to exist without Canada, Mexico, and China. Period. End of story. One of the classic signs of a narcissist is the constant overestimation of one's own value. That can be said about him personally, and that could certainly be said about the US in general, especially in this day and age. And that influence is only declining by the day, at least partly thanks to the goon, his lowly VP, and Field Marshall Musk.

This is very correct, instead of even making a sincere effort to try to make America great again, Trump is sabotaging America's standing in the world and it is declining by the day. He is isolating America to a great extent, and making the US the laughing stock of the world. The decline started long before Trump. I estimate it was at least 30 years ago, but he's precipitating it quite dramatically. He will fail at what he does. A tidal wave of public sentiment will rise against this ignorant fool.

It is very hard to communicate with you because your ignorance and fealty knows no bounds. Canada has the tenth-largest economy in the world, with a GDP of about $2.117 trillion. It is a fantastic country, with amazing people, land and resources. But how would you know those kind of facts when you've been drinking so much Kool-Aid and listening to an numskull 24/7?
-
Around the world anti-Trump sentiment is building, and Zelensky is considered a hero for speaking out to a bully, and a numskull. Trump is an absolutely horrific negotiator, and one can see that fully on display now. When you give away the talking points of a negotiation prior to sitting down at the table you have failed. There is a 0% chance of success once you do that, and any decent negotiator knows that. The man could negotiate his way out of a paper bag to save his own life. The United States is now dependent upon this creep for to defend itself. Prior to the election all of his supporters knew that he adored dictators and despots and he had a lack of affection for democratically elected leaders, but did anybody guess that it would be this bad, so soon? The death and destruction is only beginning, give Trump another year or two and those who supported him will begin to understand the very nature of the man, and the staggering extent of his deception, malice, evil and corruption. Trump is a clear and present danger to the security of both the United States and the Free World and he must be stopped. The Senators and Congress members of his own party and the Democratic party must stand up and defend freedom and rational thinking, and against this insane goon.

I believe that both Trump and Vance have low I.Q's
spidermike007 replied to advancebooking's topic in Political Soapbox
I think there's no doubt about the fact that he's a Russian asset. I'm not sure if Putin has a significant amount of kompromat on him, or if he just simply worships desperate dictators to the point where Putin is just a natural friend of his. I do agree that Trump has a relatively low IQ, I would put it at about 91. Vance might be a little bit more intelligent maybe in the 105 range, but they're both fairly dim and you can certainly tell that. They're really out of their element, Vance embarrassed himself deeply with that ridiculous lecture in Munich, and then again in the Oval Office with Zelensky, lecturing him and kissing the butt of the new king. It was like a lowbrow WWF rope a dope show. And then Vance has the audacity to talk about bringing shame to the Oval Office? Guess who's bringing shame to the Oval Office on a daily basis?
