  1. This is like giving a five year old and box of matches, and saying be careful.
  2. As ezzra says, you have to be back for 2 years to qualify. I had to suffer 2 years to get mine some time ago :(
  3. Why would anyone coming here on a tourist visa or VOA be buying luxury cars let alone any sort of vehicle? Precisely ...There is way more to this story than being reported.
  4. Future forward party now this! Just get rid of all opposition no matter how small. Who's next?
  5. You seem to have the decimal point in the wrong place!
  6. Well there goes my morning coffee and chat. What plans now John? Whatever they are I wish you well. Many thanks of 30 plus years of friendship. Take care.
  7. Powerball in Australia this week is $100,000,000 that's right one hundred million :P...2.3 billion baht !!
  8. Utter claptrap! My daughter (Australian/British and NZ passports) Left Australia a few weeks ago on her British passport as he first port of call was England. I also do it frequently. Both of my children were born in Australia, but also hold British and New Zealand passports courtesy of myself and their mother who is a New Zealand national. My daughter's job takes her all over the globe every few weeks, and depending where she is going, she selects a suitable passport. Two months ago she went to Iceland on her NZ passport as the Australian passport office was taking 3 months of renewals! As I said previously if you leave Australia on a British passport make sure you apply for a RRV before you leave.
  9. If you leave Australia on your British passport, make sure you have an RRV which is a residents return visa. Valid for 5 years and costs around $250. You can apply on line and it's electronically linked to your passport.
  10. Quite frankly I would be amazed if he actually turns up seeing how paranoid he is.
  11. Yes I saw those and they still do not carry that sort of voltage. 69,000 volts are used on 100 meter high transmission towers.
  12. Two power poles that carried 69,000 volt wires were brought down. Utter rubbish! These are regular utility poles in a soi and do not carry 69,000 volts! That is the voltage carried by 100 meter transmission towers, and not one in sight on that soi :)
  13. Having logged some seven hundred and fifty thousand kilometers over the last 30 plus years in Thailand, I find the video an insult to my intelligence!!
  14. Not if you are crafty :) Last twice I did it they sat me in front of a computer and said watch it. When it finishes come back and report to the desk. Use the mouse to fast forward the video, and after 20 mins walk back to the desk, saying it's finished. There are so many people milling about that they never bother to check.
  15. From that "other" source PATTAYA: Police cracked down on young motorcyclists from Middle East countries causing a huge public nuisance by illegally racing on the streets of Pattaya, making 30 arrests on Monday night.
  16. The photo in the op reminds me of the movie Brewster's millions where Brewster campaigned with the slogan "None of the above" ????
  17. My only question is ......How did he leave Thailand? By air? By land?
