  1. Time to tackle serious infrastructure projects (not just repaving roads).

    suggestions

    Flyways/overpasses to reduce U-Turns

Traffic lights  to reduce speeding and U-Turn accidents

Hospitals and schools (relocate schools from main thoroughfares)

Re developement   to move residential from high density traffic areas

    Parking structures

active police patrols  especially to control traffic flow/speeding/competent driving habits

I know many will not agree   just my comment.

  2. Good job  But unfortunately expensive for you.  Questions that have been asked.  Why leave Thailand,,,Because the Immigration Dept. is requireing changes to Visa's be done Out Of The Country (so I have been told, (perferably in applicators home country.)  Why both Marriage Certificate and Childrens Birth Certificate.  The fact you have both can alleviate further problems. (Divorce or Wife dies but not children,  children die but not wife.)  Having both document forms pretty much insures fewer problems when applying and renewing the following year.

  3. Is this just a revamp of last years investigation.  The one of Condo Developers renting Condo's as Hotel space?  I don't remember ever hearing what happened with that investigation.  Hua Hin was supposed to threaten to dismantle some of these il-legal"Hotels".  I have not seen or heard of this being done.  Though they might have been inviting options for tourists  these condo's for short term rent did little to help legitimate Hotels and Guest Houses.

  4. I recently spoke to someone by phone in the U S.  They were looking for a flight from San Francisco to Bangkok.  They were directed to several flights that were going through (unbelievably) Germany and other hub airports.  The total trip time was over 30 hours.  In that amount of time with dead time in several airports waiting to board the next flight, I think it would be easy to come into contact with the covid virus.

  5. I could be wrong but,  I think you ust wait until your current visa is up.  I also think you must leave the country (even for only 1 day).  Then upon arrival apply for the visa with all the needed documents.  Most of the ground work can be completed before leaving the country.  Option 2  is the famous brown envelope.  I a likely going to switch from Q-A Retirement to O Married and was told by the local Imm. Office I would have to wait until my current visa expired, leave the country return and apply for the type O Visa.
