I have been waiting for the virus to end. When it does I am thinking of just leaving, after twelve years. Leaving house and properties which can't be sold for a fair price. Thailand can help itself they burned the bridge to my bank account.

And still the Government does NOTHING to stop this. Chase Vehicles, Radar Guns, Transponders, and a Police Force incenticszed to stop speeders and others commiting aggregious driving habits.

I am sorry, aren't they quarentining cities still in China. When the restrictions in Wuhan did not allow the citizens of (Wuhan) to travel to other cities/provences in China. They were still allowed them to travel out of the country. Sure welcome them back. This guy has a death wish.

Insurance should be provided by the Golf Club/Pro Shop. That way everyone would have financial protection. Proper training for Caddies should also be provided.

As gambling seems to be entrenched in most if not all Provences possibly the Government should legalize and reap the taxes. A legal "Casino" would make control and honesty of the gaming possible. I think the Lao and Cambodian casino's would not have so many Thai's going out of country then, keeping their Baht at home.

A re engineering of U-Turns. Flyovers thouch expensive to build would save countless lives and injury.

More traffic lights, An active force monitoring traffic with chase cars, motorcyycles. Radar speed detectors and implantation of new vehicles to have transponders.

Not that the Chinese have nothing to do with this but, I think the blame would be better directed at the Lao Dams. I am not near the Mae Sai house so ask that readers from Chiang Saen respond. At this time of year and with the rain that Chiang Saen has been getting the upper MaeKong should be getting up to a worrying level.

What is different is the I can do what I want attitude. No real shelter in place no masks no social distancing. They were hit with an intense strain of covid19 and wanted to continue life as it was. Sadly many who wanted/tried to follow the precautions are infecteed by those who don't

It is not just the Bars,Massage shops closing..Soon the lack of tourists will start to close the hotels, and all associated support business.sader and sader

A hard decision. Keep things as theyare and continue the financial pain or take the chance of letting a easily transmitted virus in. Better to be safe then sorry I suppose.

One has to wonder about the accuracy. How was the polling controlled? Where were the respondents, cities, rural villages, tourist locations. What age groups, etc. Without much effort it is no problem to get manipulated poll numbers.

Honestly, What are cold weather Penguins doing ina hot weather environment like Thailand. The least they could do is put them in a refridgerated enclosure.

Over what time period for bookings? Over what days per week? What percentage does this represent of all available hotel, resort and guest houses in the country?
We are already told that these booked rooms are discounted.

Active mobile police patrols, Radar guns. Traffic lights where needed. Changes to U Turns. Respect for others on the road instead of the current push your way through mentality. Real penalties for the responsible. A Government that truly cares to ake a difference. Input from the insurance carriers.

Going to a Mall is risky. Going on a holiday or weekend is insane.
