I have had stomach issues for a while (that come and go), and need to get a gluten intolerance test. I can eat brown bread and fruits most of the time without issues, but my food diary shows that problems mostly arise after eating foods containing both. Symptoms are stomach pain, bloating, and loose stools that last for 2-3 days. Anybody know the name of the test i need?
I have already tested negative for Pylori and parasites.

Thanks all.
Next question: What's the best/easiest way to get from the embassy to the MFA? Taxi?

Be aware that the MFA operates an online queue system and there can be a bit of a bottleneck, so don't be too surprised if you are quoted a 2-3 week turnaround.
Thanks. 2-3 weeks is a long time. I may take it to the the MFA myself and use the translation service there. I have read that the translations are done by the MFA staff in their free time. It should be quicker.
I also see that there is a new MFA office at MBK Center.

I have to get a notarized copy of my passport from the British Embassy. It also has to be translated and legalized by the MOFA in Laksi. I do not want to go there myself, so i would like to know if anyone can recommend a translation company nearby that offers this service.
However, the search function indicates that going to the MOFA myself and leaving it with the translation services on the second floor is the best option.

Also, consider looking in to Candida as the systems are very similar and there is a lot of overlap in the symptoms of IBS, SIBO and Candida
My local lab offers a stool antigen test for H.Pylori for 400bt. @SherylDo you know what test i need for candida? Google gives a stool yeast test.
I would like to test these before i visit the hospital for medication.

They were very helpful and efficient. Easy to get to too.
I just looked at the (prepaid) pay online option and it only accepts UK credit/debit cards?

No mention of which country's consular office you are going to use. If the UK, then I paid by card at the appointment for affirmation of residence last November.
Thanks. It is the British Embassy.

Do consular fees have to be paid in advance or can they be made during the appointment?

There was an AC before which we removed. Need thru 2 thin walls but the holes are already made. The electric is already there.
Maybe post some pictures for better advice.

Only a handful of places here can do it as it requires special equipment and training.
Bumrungrad does it and so does Bangkok Hospital (Bangkok branch).
9,500 baht at Bangkok Hosp. Bumrungrad won't be less, might be more.
Thanks

Several years ago, the doctor gave me x rays and it showed inflamed stomach lining and duodentis. Now, I suffer from IBS-D which comes and goes, so i am looking to get a Hydrogen breath test to confirm my issues.
Has anybody done this here?

I recently did a 90 day single entry based on marriage and the financial requirement was listed as 10,000.
Yes, so when you got your version of question 9 which needs to be completed i.e. mandatory, you could have put the letter from your spouse.
My question is not about financial requirements.
There was no question about flights on my application, but my accommodation was given in my invitation letter.

You should really replace the sprockets when fitting a new chain.

Good question! I'm not that technical myself but I'll try and ask. The guys have a large yard full of pickups and vans with a few engines out. Maybe that's a good sign? They sent this video clip.
The video is showing where the water has eroded the block face/liner. I'm not sure if resurfacing will be able to remove that much material. I think they want to fit new liners.

Today the guys got back to my Mrs. Told her a reconditioned engine would be 70,000 baht and, of course, it might have suffered the same fate as our own. They estimate 48,000 baht (parts and labour) for repair of engine and replacement radiator etc. Apparently, they're already onto it.
Are they going to pin the cracked cylinder head or replace with a second hand one?

The school is now suggesting I enter on a tourist visa and convert later to a Non-B visa.
Will the school pay for your trip out of the country?

To follow up on this subject, albeit a bit late. I had laser treatment to both eyes (Aging apparently) Painless, and I had 20/20 vision immediately. Amazing. cost? Bt14,000 and well worth it. Thanks Sheryl and to all those who gave me advice.
Bt 14,000 for 2 eyes? What exactly did you have done?
