I'm here to discuss and try to find solution to solve our problem and not to judge the tips , the suggestion or the ideas of someone else . Nobody is perfect and nobody always give a good or the best advise ( point of view ) . Probably my reaction in the eyes of other member is considered as " kick off a war " or a " movie " and I respect their ideas but I repeat that the reason why I'm here is to discuss and try to find out a solution , so I write my point of view . Sometimes the road to solve a problem is not nice and not confortable and You have to choose. Accept the situation and live with that problem always near You or solve the problem . I read many post that suggest to report to the Police or write on an international newspaper and I wonder if we are in the same place or not . The first solution make smile and who live here longer know why , the second is a polite way to let many people know that we have a problem but 3 days after all the reader already forget it ( our friend sure will not forget it for all his life) and nothing change. Question : we want solve the problem or we want have some fun judging the opinion of other member that from our point of view are funny , crazy or even stupid ?

The rich rule thailand and they do not want us here. So just come to los spend your money as fast as you can and leave!

These problems will never be fixed in our life time. If you take off the rosey glasses and realize this you will not be so disappointed when it happens again. Thailand is still a beautiful place and a cheap vacation destination with some of the nicest people in the world. But farangs are nothing more stupid people who part with their money very easily.

Don't get me wrong I love Thailand, and except it for the way it is. A Farang will never have any rights in LOS.

So there is no need to get bent out of shape over something you can not change. The only thing you can do is have lots of money when you are in Thailand. Money will solve most of your problem in Thailand.( I know this is not unique to Thailand)

My Thai wife gets hassled every time we leave LOS. Last time the said they were not going to let her leave until I explained to them that she no longer lived in thailand.

She came home and got her U.S. citizenship just so she could get a U.S. passport . She really wants to tell the Thai immagration to kiss her Arse! on her way out of course.

I was in immagration line on the way out, when this Brit in front of me finished. He bent over to pick up his breif case and farted right at the Immagration officer. (I had to bite my tongue so I did not laugh in front of him.) He yelled something in thai which I did not understand. Once we got through the line I asked my wife what did the guy say. She said "God dam farang farted in my face, don't come back to Thailand."

My short military career was supporting these guys. The one thing I learned is they never talk about it.

Never admit to it. They are not there to try to impress drunken bar flys.

My best friend stayed in the Army. Now he is a command sgt major of a special forces group. If you did not know him you would not even know he is in the army. They have a code not to talk about what they do.

And they honor it.

To be honest, I don't really blame the Thai guy for walloping the cheap old fart for refusing to pay for merchandise that he had broken, but I will admit that using a potentially lethal weapon was a bit much.

First of all for a 30 year old man to hit a 65 year old man is unexceptable in any culture Thai , American . African or European. I confess that I can't STAND Peyton Manning! I don't know how many on this forum have spent much time in the USA during the past few years. I just moved here in April of last year. So let me tell you that the media has fawned over Peyton Manning like he's Jesus Christ! Watching and reading the media, you'd think that it was Manning, and not Tom Brady, who had won THREE Super Bowls, and set numerous Playoff records.

If I had to choose between Brady and Manning , I would choose Brady every time. And as much as I don't like the manning family with the way they handled the draft of Eli. I have to say Peyton is probably going to be remembered as One of the best QB's that ever played and managed the game.

$400 dollars! you got to be sh1ting me. Who would ever pay that much. Not to mention 98% of it would go to waste. As a one time thing i could understand making it, but to put it on your menu it stupid. The only ones who would orded it would be drunk and with the 12 hour waiting period they would sober up and change the mind.

Googles Picasa has an option "Create a Gift CD"

Creating a gift CD/DVD allows you to copy your pictures to a CD or DVD that you can give to friends or family. With a gift CD/DVD, you can also include an auto running slideshow and a copy of the Picasa installer, so you can share the software.

1. Select the pictures you wish to copy to a gift CD/DVD.

2. Click "Gift CD" button.

3. If you want to include the auto-running slideshow, make sure "Include Slideshow" is checked.

4. If you wish to include a copy of Picasa on the CD/DVD, make sure "Include Picasa" is checked.

5. You can add more pictures to the gift CD by clicking the "Add More" button.

6. If you wish to resize the pictures, you can do so using the "Picture Size" drop down. If you do not wish to resize your pictures, make sure to select "Original Size".

7. Enter a name or title for your gift CD.

8. When you are ready, click "Burn Disc" button.

If you only want to give the intended recipient the straight picture files, uncheck "Include Slideshow" and "Include Picasa". This will burn the folders of your pictures. This format might be a good idea if you want to take the CD to a photo lab to have the pictures printed.

When Picasa is creating the image to be burned to the CD or DVD, Picasa will show "Calculating" in the blue bar above the "Burn Disc" button. Please wait until this message goes away (it should state how many files and folders are ready to be burned) before pressing the "Burn Disc" button.
