In Thailand the truth is not necessarily a defence to a charge of defamation - if you are charged You have to prove your innocence.

They printed it out within 10 minutes.

TIT - every bank branch can be a law unto itself - same same Immi.

In Kamala the Kbank ATM has a limit of 10,000 baht per withdrawal with a foreign card - charge 180 baht.

Next door the BKBank ATM with the same card allows a 25,000 baht per transaction - fee 180 baht.

It's a no brainer which to use.

I also used a KBank card at a Kbank ATM in a seaside village in Chantaburi and their limit per withdrawal was 200 (Yes, two hundred) baht!

Just an update on Phuket Immi who seem all over the shop.

After the recent postings about the need to register address (apart from the 90 day report) my partner went to Phuket Immi to get the TM28 and TM30 forms (as I can only write verrry slowly and like to have everything filled out before attending).

On showing them my passport downstairs they said we don't have the forms.

So upstairs and asked the Sgt. Major - same reply - don't need. He checked and said "Everything in computer".

Being persistent she checked with the farang volunteers - don't have, don't need - only the TM7 and bank/Embassy letters (for pensions plus deposit).

I bet that's changed by the time I go in two weeks!
