Seems the title should be changed to My Family instead ofThai people. Painting with a too wide brush does nobody any good. This problem is your own Thai family, end of story.

Nobody is trolling anybody. Its a legitimate question. You indeed did post how happy you were to be out of here, and how much better Canada was. Why is it trolling to ask why you turned around and are coming back?
-
Didnt you arrive back in Canada less than two months ago. I seem to recall you posting how happy your wife was to be back there. Also how much better Canada was than here. Bigger and better condos or apartments, banks friendly and giving nice perks, plus on and on. You even posted a thread up about it. Now you are turning around and coming back. What happened?🤔

The price listed in the article seemed very affordable. I just hope that they are durable.
The selling points are comfort and durability. Believe it or not the price is in the high end range of this type of sandal. 30 years ago I was wearing them on beach trips. Great for rocks and rock hopping.

Go to a branch of Central Department store. They will carry genuine Samsonite. You will pay but it will be there with the Samsonite guarantee. If you want to take a chance on a cheap knockoff follow Dolf's advice.

You enquired if you should stay or go. It seems the vote was overwhelmingly to go. When is your departure, and will you take the wife?

I guess you have not been to Krabi Bobby. The main temple Wat Korawaram is well known for its monkey problem. How do the monks keep them from taking over? Slingshots, and they are really good at hitting them. Lots of monks cheering when they are driven off. Fun times that all enjoy.
Bob the do gooder 5555.

that would describe the guy you are replying to very well. his avatar before was prayut but he denies it now
That it was, he also has expressed a dislike of Thai's in general. Waste of space with his 1930's outlook on drug laws.

Pretty broad paint brush you are using there Terry. The Swiss guy is the scammer and you have to get your two cents worth in. Little knowledge of the Thai way of life.

JHC, there is no balancing in an adult teacher hitting a child student. You a parent?

I do feel for the OP but in his posting history he goes out of his way to say he has no interaction with the Thai people and is very proud of that. Does not know any, not even his neighbors and speaks to nobody as well. From not integrating at all into Thai society it seems he genuinely did not know what to do after the accident and still does not know what to do now. So I for one have no advice I can give to him.

Its what you look like and who you associate with Bob. Been here 35 years and never been asked once. But for sure you and I run in completely different crowds. You have had "occasions" with these same people before. Hope you get the attention you are seeking.

I would worry that the pilot had or didnt have the training to fly into Katmandu. Just a normal pilots license is not enough. Dont forget 1992, TG 311 BKK/KTM, it never made it. Flew right into a mountain. All souls perished.
