But nothing has happened in the last 25 years....... Sigh......
50 at least is the sad truth. The same texts, the same teacher training, and the same rote, no critical thinking allowed approach.

I dont believe 350CC electric scooters are legal in Thailand. You wont be able to get plates for it from what I hear. Would 350cc bikes be considered big bikes thus needing a special license here is another question.

This topic really cant be discussed. The answer cant really be spoken of. Has to do with Astrazeneca production in Thailand.

Dont buy at the airport unless you go downstairs to Super Rich. A big exchange will be a big loss inside the airport..

I love spring season, and there are countries where this is extra special. How about in Thailand? What's the best thing to do during Spring?
As 1fickyone said, stay inside in air conditioning. Its not called Spring here its called the hottest season. Temperatures will be above 35 and rarely below 26 for the next 2 months.

I went to a conference there 23 years ago and ended up in the Garden Wing. I could not believe it. Mold growing on interior and exterior walls. The room was dirty and smelled of smoke. The aircon was loud and not cool as well. We had fried eggs as a "free breakfast", cold and rubbery, so they were not eaten. Lunch comes round and I could not believe it, the same eggs were served as "Yam Kai Dao" or egg salad.
Luckily we were with a major government university and when the dean saw our rooms she demanded we be moved to the "Ocean Wing". She had the power after a few phone calls to get us moved.
Dump then, and still dump now. Its only open for tour groups and Chinese patronage, that is for sure.

Yes and Covid did wonders for the Thai hospitality industry as well. What's a few million jobs and subsequent loss of income? Damn dude..

EP! forget the math for now. It will come in time. As said let him excel in English and build up to the math. Hell 6 year olds should be doing no more than basic adding, and subtracting. The wife is wrong, and that is going to be hard to deal with. But do it.

He was dreaming. 20 years ago the pollution in Pattaya Bay was much more than now. Many hotels pumped sewerage directly into the sea. But as said it was fun, before the cell phone. TQ and the old Sugar Hut on Jomthien were really cool places..

Sure they don't sell 274 liters each day... everything's out in the open and the restaurant's owner told me he pays tax on the beer and everything.
Wonder how he manages to produce below 100k liters per year while running a seemingly legal business.
Chit is a great publican, and well connected. He is a former colonel in the Thai military who still teaches some classes at the Royal Thai Military Academy. He only sells at his joint and does not make waves in anyway. So he is simply left alone to brew the beer he loves.

I have found these to be the best. Bon Cafe comes in 250g backs either beans or ground. Most supermarkets its about 140 baht, but at Makro the packages are only 114 Baht so quite a good deal. I like a strong cup so Dark French or Espresso blend for me.

The lack of humidity and dryness of the air will be a major problem for her I would bet you. Make sure she stocks up on creams and inhalers as that is what she is going to want. Good luck, especially with Ecuador.

We have Young Women living nearby who complain of being tired all day but when asked why they laugh and say they were on their phone's most of the night. Personally i just can't imagine what could be so riveting on anyone's phone to make them want to do that...madness !
Wow one hell of a stereotype without a shred of evidence. Well done.

Zeer Rangsit has several shops selling Chinese batteries for HP. The prices range from 900 up to 1500 baht depending on the model. You get a 6 month warranty, but I have bought 2 now and they seem to last about 18 months. Go walk around and ask..

It will not open until November. Trial runs are not even on now. A few a day about a month ago is as close as we have gotten.
