  1. Funny, onethailand!! Get grilling and teach your daughter a true homemade burger!! Thanks for the "shout out", brother!!

I just got outa my condo, and rented a private house, (starting Nov 1st) Ari area with my Thai fiancee,

complete with (for half the price of a 1 bedroom condo) 2 bedrooms, 3 baths, kitchen, living room,

front car park, and BEST OF ALL.....a backyard!!!

So, you know ###### well I will be grilling my narrow ass on the weekends!!! Burgers and beers!!!! YIPPEEEE!!!

Eat your heart Homer Simpson!! I will check the pizza thread for sure. I am a newbie here.....but I KNOW, since I am

half Italian and a native New Yorker, what pizza and/or bagels should be. Word up.

Good job man... I'd kill to find a good house at a reasonable price. The very first thing I would buy is a BBQ...

For the record, I'm a Jersey boy... but ain't never going back there again after the last trip. The entire coast has turned into a cesspool... but who cares when you can live in Thailand :o

Reasonable pizza can be had in town... but only frozen bagels, sheesh...

Frsh bagels at Au Bon Pain, ok, not east coast good, but ok

  2. I went< stood outside and looked at the list of vendors, nothing inteesting and only food was Thaivisa, errrrrr, Sunrise Taco and American Rib, where was Bourbon Street. And if it is truly an American thing, please, hamburgers, hot dogs and apple pie!

Yes it was an introductory thing, but introduce them correctly

  3. I'm working on a expanded menu at the new location. what else would you like ?

Since you are open 24 hours try a breakfast burrito, not a true Mexican dish but great with egg, hashbrowns, sausage, maybe bacon.....great morning sandwich.........see you are adopting the double decker idea on the taco

  5. Alcohol + times to sell????? :D ERR - Don't compute! :D :D

Anytime, any day, just phone the shop down the road and there will be a crate of lovely Beer Lao awaiting outside the front gate in ten minutes . .. . guess I'm spoilt! :D:o

Would seem you are in a different country, thus different laws

  6. Mango has been terrible last two times I was there, MOS is what it is, a Japanese burger, ugh, White Spot is sloppy and delicious, and no need to order combo, a burger and drink can be had, the staff are all very smart

  7. Great and very interesting poll, I am a guy so did not vote but am on my second Thai wife, two wonderful kids, one on third tour in Iraq, the other a successful biz woman, oh and 3 grandkids, 4th on the way

    Good poll sbk

  8. Great ice cream can be had at Amaltery, located in Camp Davis next to the Conrad hotel and a new branch in the Erawan complex on Ploenchit/Rama 1.

Ice cream is alcholic and tastes like different cocktail like margarita etc

  9. I was in Rainbow 2 bar in Nana, was staying in the Dynasty Inn, went back to book a room at Dynasty Pattaya, walked in and this guy screams, some plane just hit the World Trade Center, I turned to the tv just as number 2 came crashing in! Ordered some ice and went to my room to watch tv

This is gonna be one long thread!

  10. because of its cleaning qualities ive heard a glass is good for a dodgy stomach.(other than drinking with spirits, this is the only time i regularly ingest the stuff, due to the high sugar content).

also good for cleaning coins etc.

a german guy once told me he cleaned his car with the stuff.

Years ago in the states my son had a really bad stomach the day before we were to fly back here, the Pharmacist recommended coca-cola syrup, small bottle, thick syrup, it did the trick!
