  1. I don't think this Thai guy knows BS, but he used to work for ARAMCO in Saudi Arabia for ten years and is pretty good. He is well spoken in English language too.

    Name: Nut Tanakornsuppakul

    Tel: 089-259 7692

    e-mail: [email protected]

Company name: B.S.C. Service, located in Pran Buri

So unless you want a phase-loop, as specified by BS, this guy may be a good choice.

Thank you very much in deed I will give this chap a bell.

    Kind Regards

  2. hi I am looking for a electrician preferably a Expat that can work to BS 16/17 edition.

I look forward to hearing from anyone that might be able to assist me.

There is a Thai electrician that I know of that can be used to do the work, however I need expert advice/assistance on some key points.

    Thank you in advance.

  3. Crap or Not this is a matter for her and remaining family to deal with, pouring money on such situations is NOT the answer.

This Thai style tribal war and it's best you back right off before you get your fingers burnt.

Plenty of fish out there and life goes on.

  4. In front of Tropical 2 is a Carpenter is a brown bilboard with yellow letters and in that small street is on the right site a Thai carpenter, who makes many things in my house.

    He do very well.

    Greeting him from me Mali

    Thank you,I appreciate very much

  5. Hi,I wonder if one of you lads happens to know a decent carpenter in Hua Hin,I want some decking work carried outside my apartment.

I am down in August/ Setember this year for a few weeks so like to follow a few leads if any.

    Thank you in advance.

  6. Covards. Proves they are terrorist.

Used to symphatize with the red movements but all that is now gone.

I sincerely hope that all foreigners and thais take all this in consideration and do NOT vote for the reds in next election. That would be a clear signal.

    Foreigners voting in Thailand?

The only thing foreigners are allowed to do in Thailand is spend money!

    110% bang-ON :)

  7. I have my house for sale in Ptty, i have had it listed with 14 agents since August 2009.

In total i have had 5 viewings, from 3 agents. No buyers, or offers.

Quite a few of the agents haven't even advertised it.

Its not that there is something wrong with the property.

But don't you think the market in Pattaya in air thin for houses of 25M Baht or US$ 750.000.00 (€ 535K)?

Possible prospects, having this kind of cash available, would they buy in or around Pattaya nowadays with the present real estate laws in place....?

    I don't know.

    LaoPo

    Simple answer is NO

  8. PM. KIFKIF he has some for rental in BKK with insurance. If ya in Pattaya then corner of soi13/3 beach road end there is a muslim women who rents. remember to smile alot she seems to like that ( got quite chatty, she defo didn't like my American friend who was being all loud about not leaving his passport. if he had quieted down he would have known she also takes a 5thou deposit in lew of passport.). No insurance but i do not believe she is a rip off artist if you DO have a problem.

Yes I been to her several times and NO problems, non of her bikes got insurance and your only allowed to ride around Pattaya.

  9. I used to fight with everything, complain alot, now I just accept things as they are.

The major change for me, to make me able to live here and be peaceful and relax, is

to stay away from all the tourist areas and activities which have the things that piss

me off - such as people ripping you off, too many touts, too many tuk-tuks, too many

massage girls, people always trying to sell you things, drunk foreigners, bar girls, etc.

I do my shopping in Big C/Tesco/Rimping, all the prices are fixed there, no chance of

ripoff. No bargaining, no talking too much.

Eat at places which display the price clearly, or on the menu, so there is not too

much talkng about how much stuf costs.

I bought a new car, so dont every have to deal or talk to taxis or tuk-tuks. Dont

have to use buses or trains, so dont get annoyed dealing with the locals, and being

    overcharged grossly.

I dont drink beer, so I dont go to bars, so dont have to listen to sorry drunks telling

me their life story. I did this for the first few months, and realised, you cannot really

learn anything from a guy that spends his whole life drunk on a bar stool.

Stay away from all the sex industry, all the girly bars and massages, so I dont get treated

like an ATM, and dont get ripped off.

Once you get away from all the tourist stuf, and all the dirty stuf (sex industry), chiang mai

and thailand is an awesome and very nice, and quite a cheap place to live.

    ^^

Very good reply my thinking is the same and so far so good.

  10. Quote:Thailand is like no other place in the world

where else get tourists beaten up by tuk-tuk drivers. But on the other hand high rollers are probably using helicopters.

11 million foreigners in the country and one of them gets beaten up by a tuk tuk driver, not so bad! I wonder how many foreigners in the US are shot dead every day :)

    ^^

Very good point,I also wonder how many foreigners get beaten up by the BNP in the UK

  11. The OP couldn't possible be a native English speaker. I hope the schools aren't that bad in England. Why doesn't he just pack up and take his GF with him back to UK?

I just like to point out that I am a native English speaker and was educated in England, yes your right our kid our schools are not that bad.I do not believe that OP represents the UK as a whole.
