Good evening,
Any update on how/or if, you corrected this? The same happened to me but fortunately it was my last name, instead of translating into Thai, **LOU** its **LO**, apparently one correction is needed

Good you made an appointment for in person report as you will need it.
They will want printout of your last 90 report.
Good luck. Not
Got approved this evening after submitting it again.
So much for your persistent in replying otherwise
You are ignorant of Tm47 requirements.
Can't fix that...... Embarrassing

Hotel stays irrelevant
I was replying @bamnutsak asking me "Did you have a hotel stay since September, where a TM 30 might have been filed on your behalf?"

No clue why they gave "Invalid Address" as the reason for the rejection. They may have bounced it against other records they have, like the new TM30 system, and there was a mismatch?
Did you or your landlord register with the NEW TM30 system? And did you file a TM30 on that new system back in September? Probably not as that new system started ~ Sep. 13 ish.
Did you have a hotel stay since September, where a TM 30 might have been filed on your behalf?
File the TM47 in person, then look into registering on the new system and filing a new TM30. Then file a TM47 in 75 ish days online. You can use the magnifying glass for autofill then, you should get approved.

I did submit a new TM30 on the 5th after arriving home, and again a new one on the 13th on that new system, both address entered as normal.
no hotel stays in between....
their rejection beats me..........

OK teacher, but you still failed to read it carefully before replying

Keep resubmitting if you have time before the due date. You can make minor tweaks or even submit the same one. I once had 3 rejections followed by an approval which was exactly the same as the first one. That was when CW were dealing with them promptly. They seem to have been getting better though - my last one was back down to 4 days.
It's due on the 4th of December, so I made an online appointment to go in on the 30th incase of another rejection.
But still buffers me why same place, same immigration, same system but they see an "invalid address"

OP, not sure why you needed to enter address.
After initial couple of fields there is magnifying glass for "autofill"
Did you use that?
Yes I did that!
if you read my post I mentioned that...
"of entering the address as previously by retrieving previous submissions."
But getting an invalid address, after submitting and living at the same house since 2006, beats me 😳🤔

Submitted it last Tuesday and two days it got rejected and the reason stated was "invalid address"
Been at the same house in Bkk for 17 years and I used the same way of entering the address as previously by retrieving previous submissions.
I wrote my address EXACTLY as it was on the TM30 filed online when I re-entered Thailand on the 5th of September 2023.
Not sure why I got rejected, I resubmitted it once again late on Thursday night but still no reply.
Amazing Thailand 🇹🇭

Since I live in the area (Saphanmai since 2006), I took the pink line two days ago all the way to Minburi and Nonthaburi, I can confirm that at the government Complex station they are building a sky walk all the way to the entrance of it but it hasn't been completed yet. At the moment the shuttle bus or a motorcycle driver 20 Baht, are the alternatives......

You already can do the face registration (For transaction over 50'000 Baht)? (They should use a Ipad to scan your face for this). As last time I checked this was not possible yet at GSB.
No idea as I haven't try to do a 50,000 transaction yet......

Thanks for sharing your experience with gsb. Do you think it is necessary to have a yellow book and pink id card to open a savings account there? I would like to open a savings account at gsb too, but have only a thai driving license. Do you think it is sufficient?
Not sure if just a driving license will be sufficient,
but having those two "strong" ID/documents made all the difference and the process without any hickupps ????

Yes, please share. That would be appreciated. Thanks.
Just got back from Immigration...Only one set of docs to submit, same docs and same 1 copy as every year except Wife's declaration form, her ID and House Book, Photos of us, and both map handwritten and google maps. Officer made us go and copy an extra copy of those , never had this happened to us.
Had the most picky officer ever in 17 years, asked me for TM30, she dint like the SCB online savings that has NO bankbook, kept double and triple checking all of the documents that we presented in order and basically very rude and continuous inappropriate questions' towards wifey.
But at end get what we wanted, back in a month for the remaining of the extension......TIT

You are required to enter a "check out date" on this system. So I entered the latest date that was allowed, which was 31/12/2039.
I just submitted a report today to make sure the system worked.

Hi, i also entered the latest date possible, 5970 nights o staying ???? .

Is there a way to cancel the notification as previous? In my old tm30 there was an option at the end of row, BUT its seems its disappeared in the new one, could u confirm? thanks

Most of us have to supply 2 copies of a marriage extension because one copy has to go divisional HQ for final sign off. (Ours are sent o Khon Kaen) However, isn't the office at Chaengwattana Immigration also the HQ of division 1?
That might explain why only one copy is required. (If this found to be correct of course)
OK I will update on this once I'm gone and done with this yearly extension endless nonsense copy of a copy of a copy saga ????

As per title can I go in and do the extension 45 days earlier.
My extension ends October 31 so any day after Monday 18 September will be fine?
(it's within the 45 days timeframe)
Non O Extension Thai Chaengwattana Immigration Bangkok that is.
Also I have never been asked to provide 2 copies of each document instead of 1. New rule at CW this year?
Thank you forum ✌️????️

Unfortunately you will find that the downside of the pink ID card is that on the back of the card, written in Thai, it states that it CANNOT be used as ID for travel outside the province of issue, and I have experienced that at the airport when flying domestically. That same restriction also technically applies to a driver's license if the pink ID card # is used on the license instead of your passport # and that has been confirmed by the Province's main DLT Office. Now that doesn't mean it will be strictly enforced, but like most things Thai, if asked by police outside the province of issue to show your license, depending on the officer's shall we say mood, you could find yourself being fined for not having a correct license, AND it could also mean that your driver's license may not be accepted as ID when outside the province of issue.
Understood your point but so far I have been able to use my pink ID outside my province several times without any problems, since I first issued with it in 2016.
As far as concerning the driving licence I heard people having restrictions on the back of it, but mine doesn't hsve it even on the physical card or the one showing on dlt qr licence app installed.
Let's see when next renewal of it in March 2026 if they r going to restrict me or not with a condition on the back of the license card.
At the moment all good ????????

had to go to the District Office to obtain that
December 2020, renewed my third 5 years Thai licence and I wanted to change the licence ID no to my pink id number all I had to do is to get that information (kor something) from the District Office confirming that this pink ID holder is the same person as the passport states.
I knew from a a previous visit that this is required so I had it and I was able to change it.
No more changing driving licence ID every time the passport number chances...... And no restrictions applied for driving outside yr province as you mentioned
Hope this helps

You can now also open an account at the Government Savings Bank (GSB) for which Thai ID is mandatory.
Yes I just did,
see my thread from few days ago

Thai ID may be mandatory to open a bank account where you live, but it's not mandatory in Buriram. I opened a GSB account with my passport.
Yes but you can't use/register for the MyMo app as it requires a citizen ID number which the pink ID has????

Good afternoon forum,
Yesterday I was able to open a new savings account with GSB by
using only my yellow book and pink id. No passport, no visa checked etc by them as they were only interested in my yellow book and pink id, and the account is registered with that 13 digit pink id (same as my other three Thai banks and that number never changes as a passport would)
Very easy process, the bank lady (spoke very good English) prepared everything as she knew from last week that I'm coming in.
All smiles, took less than an hour, 100 Baht deposit to open.
Also at the end the staff registered me for their app
(mymo by gsb) and it worked as it only takes a citizen ID to register (pink ID in my case).
Used the app to connect /favourites my other three Thai banks.
Walked out with my new shiny pink coloured bank book. Wife next time to me at all times but she had nothing to do with the process except the occasional 'ka ka ka'...... now and then
Saphanmai area, north of BKK.
So much for not being a farang friendly bank......????✌️

I have done it twice last year, over 1,000,000 thb
best way to send for us was from ktb swift to Commonwealth bank.
Both times money was there within 15 minutes despite telling us it would take 2-3 business days.
Make sure you let the receiver, commonwealth bank account holder's pay for the fees instead of the sender ktb here. It's works much cheaper as ktb charges 1100 Baht whereas commonwealth bank charges 11$. In my case it was free as I m long customer of CBA.
By using swift the charges are cheaper but the rate is little higher but at the end it works out as the cheaper way /option.
Plus it's quick despite its a swift transaction.
I hsve a whole thread in here I'm try to post it.
OK I got it
