One time I went severely ascending with some of the local pro chaps (i had to dismount and push, perhaps i should'a stayd with the local pro girls ... ) either way, discs were smelling like burning rubber on the descent.

Thanks Nikster. Got on to AppleCare, and we went into activity monitor, which showed that flashplugin was using 70pc!!! of CPU. Shut that down and things seem to have improved. ... on the road again now, so not entirely sure.

Will try your rec's; have heard of litte snitch, seems overkill as you say.

Mine just activated - so clicking that notify me button works pretty quick.

My GoogleDrive just got activated - less than 24hrs.

Edit: I should have emphasised its specifically for socialnetworks and the stuff you have on them ie, FB, twitter, dropbox, google docs, box.net, et al.

My brand new MBP replacement is eating up all the bandwidth both at office and home. Even when I shut down all the sevices like Dropbox etc. Can someone reccommend a good way to track down what app is responsible for this,
