  1. Well, well, well... considering that in what, many in this forum and elsewhere, boasting to be "educated in western democratic countries" believe, express and support the democratic right of free speech, the same individuals won't give this right in their blatant selfish- "I am right'isher than other's" ignorant attitude; to someone like Prayuth, the Military Commander in Chief of the KINGDOM of Thailand, who's DUTY it is to protect the Kingdom, it's people and his "Boss"! Thailand wich is, as of today a CONSTITUTIONAL MONARCHY and it's Ruler and TOP Decisionmaker is undisputeable the King of Thailand and people, anyone involved HAS to play by the rules, as simple as that!

Rules are the rules, unless they are changed one day!

    "Uncle Arthur" said....

best post so far there is noway they will let the red gangsters, run or buy there way in.

this is thailand not europe or usa,and most of you reds on here dont get it and more to the point its got nothing to do with you

things are not going to be pretty i know who my money is on and you may find most of you wont be living here much longer watch this space.

  2. One down ...... well maybe.

Anyone have any rough idea how many operate here? One I am familiar with, keeps asking me "do you speak English?" and I am ABSOLUTEly certain I know who they are.

well its not them guys seen them working 20 mins ago, marriotts still outside macd,s the only other i know is anaterra who work at the airport.

    is there any others

  3. It really is a sore topic with some, can see the amount of posts already.......in reality, anyone with a business should embrace timeshare, it brings repeat customers to the island...also if you have a good business the staff will recommend to the customers your business, whereas if you go peeing them off they wont..........ask the Thais what they think, many are very happy with the work and business it brings to the island........

    Embrace me!

    Repeat me!

    Recommend me!

Ask the Thais what they think about timeshare . . . . . . : :unsure:ask the thais who work for these outfits and make 3x thai wage

Ask the Thais what they think about the kids with piercings who are not 'working' here and who are not 'employed' pushing timeshare  same as all the sextourists they dont care

Ask the Thais exactly what timeshare has ever done for them :huh:billions in thai baht to thai landowners

As the Thais - 'What is timeshare?' :huh:whats the capital of brazil they dont care

    Lets go ask some Thais!

    R

rob ritz calton have one in krabi, marriotts have about 5 and building more, they also gave over a million usd in aid when clinton and bush stayed at marriotts timeshare resort in phucket after the bigwave hit, westins have a 6 resorts you can stay in thailand banyan tree cost 150,000 usd to join have 2 in thailand ,hilton have timeshare, rainmanland are getting in on the game also ,alot of multi national companies are building in thailand, using thai builders, staff to work in all these resorts, getting suppies food produce, multi services ie telephones, internet, carpets lien and thousands of tourists who spend millions of baht.

ever watch the life of brian, what the romans ever do for us.lol we dont like the kids on the streets but timeshare has brought billions of baht in to thailand and will in the future,im a member of westins holiday club and worth every penny,i got it free not on a scratch card

  4. Must be time for the periodic timeshare bashing brigade to get on their high horses..................bring it on :D

Sorry to disappoint you but i really don't have a problem with timeshare as such. Its your choice to take it or leave it. What i do loathe is the pathetic sales pitch of Brit gap year students calling me mate and asking me if i'm enjoying my holiday like they really give a toss, before they blatently lie to me about what they are selling.

However, i think many "legal" expat workers here have a problem with them working here "illegally" without "work permits" when most other people have to go through the correct procedures, which ofcourse costs money aswell for a "work permit" to work here "legally." Many also feel these people make life harder for those who take the time to abide by the law. Most i've met could'nt sell water to a dying man in the Gobi desert but thats another matter altogether.

    Hows that for starters? :)

I suppose you also either work or have very close friends/relatives that work at the labour office and can confirm they do not have work permits......sorry to dissapoint you but all OPCs and Reps are issued with valid work pernits so they are in fact working legally..as for gap year students, that isnt exactly correct, think you will find most are long term residents with Thai connectins...wife/children

Oh yes silly me. All of those irritating knobs that pestered me on a daily basis last time i was on Phuket all had valid permits did'nt they. :D

The only thing that disappoints me is that they are so totally unprofessional. Their sales pitch is borderline retarded,

PS The everyones a winner....oh i can'tbelieve it you've won scratch card is gutt wrenchingly aweful btw.

the funny thing is 20 odd year ago in spain, these scratch card things were used then.

any one who flys 6000 miles or more and gets stopped has been on a sales pitch,or seen this thing before is a sad <deleted> years ago a friend of mine used to go on 2 or 3 every holiday 200 free fags, bottle of vodka and a free week holiday, greedy want for nothings,as for the dicks on the bikes just say no or carry on walking.

im sure tea money gets them all the right permits. we are in thailand money number1 lol

  5. Democrat Party leader Abhisit Vejjajiva has urged former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra not to threaten to mobilize supporters if the Pheu Thai Party wins the election but fails to form the next government.

He might as well have said its OK if you win the election but we cheat our way back in again. I fail to see how anyone can still support this man. Roll on July and good riddance to him.

you just dont understand anything do you

  6. sadly the TV shows the level to which the general public in US has sunk to and the extent of their ignorance.

Rejoicing in anyone's death is unpleasant, and the fact that they don't realise how insignificant this is - apart from the inevitable "revenge" attacks shows how poorly the Us have handled affairs before and since 9/11. The fat that this date is considered the beginning by many again shows a lack of understanding. It looked for a few days after 9/11 that the US might have asked "WHY?" but in the end they chose a course of revenge and lowered themselves to the level of any crank who thinks that violence can bring and end to violence.

Did you post the same hogwash to palestinians celebratin Israeli deaths on the west bank, or to terrorists cutting off the head of an American news reporter - no - only the free western democracies eh?? What do you mean by "the fat that this date"?

the israelis are causing genoside on the westbank the usa have killed more innocent lifes in iraq and afganistan for the sake of getting bin laden, you wont see his body and all at a convenient time , they distract you sheeple while at the same time crashing the dollar this wont end here this is only the start god help us

  7. you were right in my eyes, sounds like he is some small time thug his money should run out soon or get caught doing something else, karma my friend.

its a shame with your wife and any other witness around and on your own property the police did not take your side,pm if you have anymore problems my wifes family are well known in pattaya and im sure one of them would gladly have a word in his ear and you would not see him again in your area riding a bike

  8. Took a short cut from Payathai to Pratunam via the Payathai train tracks the other day. There is a desperately poor community living next to the tracks, quite literally like the poorest I have seen in Thailand. Yet amidst the daily comings and goings of the people were a number of African men. Two were sitting down at a table eating rice with little clothes on, another two were perched on a rubbish tip and shouted at me "hey, yo, wassup" aggressively as I walked through...I felt like I was in Brixton (London)- I hollered back in my best gruff Cockney voice " yea, you kool bruv"...Then another guy walked around the corner with a big gold watch draping from his arm speaking loudly on a mobile phone. Now before the PC brigade go mental I am not at all racist, but clearly this was odd that these guys were living amongst one of the poorest communities in Bangkok on a railway line. I left baffled as to what they were doing there. If they can only afford to stay there then surely they don't have legit visas, right? And it is rather odd that the Thais of that small community were accommodating them....I hate to jump to conclusions for fear of stereotyping but can only think that this was a good place to stay out of the way of the police, perhaps they are paying the community to let them stay there incognito. Or perhaps the police said stay there and out of sight and give us a cut of your dealings...thoughts?

Your thinking appears to be nonsensical. Perhaps they don't find it easy to secure rented accommodation in other areas. Wasn't it much like that in Britain forty years ago? That people would be denied accommodaion because of the colour of their skin? Also in the USA?

pathetic reply with all the hotels half empty and the fact these guys are all mostly here up to no good, the area is like a home from home for them

  9. Off to jail you go terrorist! Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.

you slow today boy, somebody get first idiotic reply in before your.

Missed the whole meaning of the post because you are just troll.

was shot in there against Newin. As these are moderate red leaders and soon out on bail and already talk with gov. there must be move in place to start undermine this true criminal as most belive he is next PM.

Think Thaksin and Abhisit unpopular? wait for Newin mate.

Well you are. sorry you not like some truths. Many people not learn anything and you one of them.

When you are big boy and can make good post, maybe you can join debates. until then, enjoy trolling and schoolboy jibe.

  10. Refuse to get drawn in to your sick cycle of denial. Good luck!

SomTumTiger krab. When most of the TV channels in Thailand are sponsored/owned/partly owned by the government or the army, should you believe everything they broadcast? Can't you for one second admit that you're the victim of one of the biggest post-war propaganda machines in the world?

remember that and tell them your a red when they come for us,im sure you will be safe you fool

  11. I am happy those leaders came to their senses and did the right thing, both for their own followers and the other people of Thailand. I hope they get a fair trial and sentence.

Now this sets the stage for the politicians to face trial in the the Hague for using the Thai Army against Thai citizens. The killing orchestrated by the politicians will be avenged in the World Court now.

want to put money on it clueless

  12. Does anyone know what happened to the Yellow Shirt leaders, after they closed the airport in Dec 2008? I have not heard of any of them serving jail sentences right now (I could be wrong) if so, seems a bit unfair to me that they can close down the airport and get away scott free. Or could be something to do with the fact that their side came into government afterwards, so they escaped punishment?

It will be interesting to see what happens to the Red Shirt leaders

1.) The Yellow went in a pacific demonstration to the airport that the local authorities decide themselves to close

the YS were in the airport building for 9 days, and the only thing they took was a couple of liters of ice cream that would have gone bad anyway. They did not touch any of the duty free goods, alcohol or cigarette that were left ungarded while they were "occupying" the airport. After they left, nothing was missing, nothing was damaged.

2.) If the YS did not confront the gouvernment at the time, which by the way was not Abhisit, today Thaksin would still be looting the country in total impunity. I am not sure the way they did was the best, I am not a YS Supporter but I must admit that it probably was the only way to get rid of Thaksin and his cohorts of hooligans. See what they can do today to attempt to regain control of the country

3.) How can you now try to compare the killing and destruction orchestrated by this egomaniac and his troops with a pacific demonstration that liberated the country?

not only that they cleaned the airport before they left in a peaceful way,the reds are burning bangkok and esan down and you want to put this lot in charge <deleted>

  13. For me too. The Thai Government has just blocked www.ireport.com

What's next? Kick out international media journalists? Arrest foreigners?

Not in songkhla I look at it now.

is boring and nothing you not see already.

can I change my handle here to songkhlasam to impress my mates and all the goons with BKK or Bangkok or Inasia in their handle?

just change it to waste of skin u fool go and swilll some more samsung you knob

  14. pornarsi

i am British and i like him

he is popular with me and all of my British friends

we think he is the best PM Thailand ever had.

we urge him to stay the course and get rid of these 'peaceful ' protestors

if we had a vote, he would get it and we all know the way our wives are going to vote

    we bought their votes.......

as to friends, i will send you 10 baht to phone one

second thoughts, here is 20 baht, phone them both.........

Alright fair nuff , and if you want to know i also supported Abhisit call for

the roadmap and even him blockading the red shirt area as long as no gunfire

Thats part of the game .

But now we have how many deads ? Why did he not order the army to use only

rubber bullets ? If the red shirt are so deadly but no soldiers are killed seems strange

dont you think .the army dont make the same mistake by trusting the reds simple just like u

Yes he seems a honest chap though without much in the way of control .

As for his popular mandate he has none . thats not so important to me .

  15. Hahaha!!!! Look at the DOUBLE STANDARDS at work here. It was just on the news that 27 red shirt protesters have been sentenced to 6 monhts in prison TODAY. They were arrested YESTERDAY. And what about the yellow shirts that took over the government house for 8 months and took the 2 airports hostage for 10 days? They're still not sentenced after 2 YEARS ..and one of their leaders is even the government's foreign minister!!!! I think this just tops it all, sorry.
simple just like u the yellows were not shooting people, not bombing people not threating to burn bangkok down, not holding women and children hostage and taking away there id cards and telling them that if they went home they will have problems, wake up fool

The yellows not ultra violent ? you want videos ?

The yellows not occupying governement house?

The yellows not holding peaceful tourists and thais travellers hostage ?

Why would they need weapons with the army then on their side ?

    chill young red

  16. "Children & elders make up 70% of protesters

Former senator and secretary of a children foundation Wallop Tangkhananurak issued a statement for red-shirt leaders to evacuate children and elders, which he estimated made up 70% of protesters at Ratchaprasong rally."

Taken from the update in another thread. This is so sick!!! Are these really tactics approved by the leadership of red shirt movement? If women and children get hurt, they have only themselves to blame, but if there are any mothers there with kids I totally could not understand it.

It is because the 'terrorists' are normal folks from all walks of life. They protest against the current government demanding elections, blocking one crossroad in bangkok.

And the government is sending out troops to shoot and kill them.

Of course it would make a better picture for the government if their 'terrorists' would be only a heavily armed para-military, ready to line up at a wall to be peaceful executed.

But the reds shirts aren't like that what the government want to paint them. Now you can continue to blame the civilians that got killed in the governments reply to the demand of new elections as even more disgusting.

u sound high its along way down

  17. It is getting ridiculous the excusses that the Farang yellow shirts are comming up with to justify the shooting of a 10 yr old child as we have seen thoughout these last 86 pages.

    1. He was armed and threatend soldiers.

    2. He was in a van speeding towards a check point packed with explosives.

    3. He was in a van packed full of weapons.

    4. he was in a van full of Red propaganda

    5. He was outside the van and armed threatening soldiers

    6. it was a school night and he refused to go to bed.

    are u real

Yes these are exact comments made by farang yellow shirts today. I missed one "he was warned by the Army to go home numerous times and he refused". Go back and read these ridiculous comments.

so what does it prove, get real u live here dont u
