  1. Fascists. Not Nazis. As is shown by one of the first appointments of Trump, Tom Homan. This is the way this next administration is going, and it's very sad to see a big country and powerful country going down the drain so fast.
  2. So you believe that a businessman who commits fraud, should be off the hook once he becomes a politician? Interesting thought, and totally fitting in the Trump era.
  3. You're talking nonsense, and you must be very gullible. Giuliani has several apartments worth millions, he has several expensive possessions that he is supposed to hand over, but that he has spirited away. As he has done before. The guy is a crook, and should face the full extent of the law. Btw, this has nothing to do with leftists, it's a civil lawsuit brought by Freeman and Moss, the election workers, themselves. It should have been brought by the DOJ or the Georgia AG in my opinion, but apparently they didn't have the guts to stand up for election workers. And this crook has been given far more leeway than an ordinary citizen would have gotten.
  4. Are you aware that this was the result of a civil lawsuit, brought by Freeman and Moss themselves? And where a jury decides the amount of money related to the damages?
  5. Not taking responsibility, huh? As is to be expected from that bunch.
  6. The idiocy of the Trump campaign for the presidency. Getting a conspiracy theorist nutcase like RFKjr on board, who constantly babbles about health, while at the same time laying out plans to eliminate regulations, diminish HHS, the EPA, the FDA etc. And the crowds, Trump supporters, are cheering wildly. Because, something.
  7. As with the famed Abraham accords, Americans think it's better to leave Palestinians out of the discussion.
  8. You should know that any right wing nutter, driving around with illegal guns and ammunition in his car, could turn into a killer at any time. Whatever the guy says after his arrest.
  9. His guns were illegal, according to reports. As was his license plate. He'll get misdemeanor charges for the guns and ammunition. A typical right wing nutter.
  10. You're talking nonsense. 'Mr Miller was then taken into custody "without incident", the Riverside County Sheriff's office said. He was later released and told US media he was a Trump supporter who was not planning to harm the Republican presidential candidate.' https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c4gqyezwj7lo
  11. That Trump is lying and bragging is nothing new. The gross aspect of this is that he's talking about Gaza, which is completely in ruins with 1.5 million people displaced, as beach property that could be developed. That guy is beyond despicable. By the way, Trump said the same about North Korea. And Jared Kushner has floated the same ideas about Gaza. I'm sure that as part of ethnic cleansing and land grabbing there's some rich Americans just waiting to make a buck there.
  12. I don't understand this whole 'endorsement' business that seems to be huge in America. And afaik, only in America. Trump endorses some governor candidate and brags about it, Taylor Swift endorses Harris, Springsteen endorses Harris, etc etc. It's perfectly ok for popular people with a big platform to express their opinions about politics, fine with me. Some even have very educated opinions. But endorsing a candidate? What does that mean? That people who hadn't figured out yet who to vote for, now suddenly think: yes because Springsteen says so, now I'll vote for Harris? I'm not American, I can think for myself.
