Yes, I know that. But it is a prominent thought among the far right in Israel, and Netanyahu depends on the far right. You could also simply look at the results of Israel's policies, not just in Gaza, but also the West Bank. Gaza has become inhabitable. Not just by the rubble that's left, but also by the toxic materials everywhere, the destroyed infrastructure. On the West Bank Palestinian farmers are daily harassed and attacked by illegal settlers, driven off their land, with the support of the IDF. For many years already, but intensified since October 7th. And without any opposition from America, of course. The idea of the two-state solution is a fantasy, it doesn't matter that Biden and Blinken keep babbling about it. If you don't recognize the ethnic cleansing here, you must be blind.

You must have missed this part: 25 'Defense Minister Yoav Gallant says he has ordered a “complete siege” of the Gaza Strip, as Israel fights the Hamas terror group. “I have ordered a complete siege on the Gaza Strip. There will be no electricity, no food, no fuel, everything is closed,” Gallant says following an assessment at the IDF Southern Command in Beersheba. “We are fighting human animals and we are acting accordingly,” he adds'

Your disdain for human life, in this case Palestinian, is obvious. Since Israel doesn't allow journalists in Gaza, or rather attack and kill them if they have the chance, I have to rely on UN reporting. And Israel's deliberately hindering and attacking food transports doesn't bother you at all I guess. Israel's defense minister Gallant explicitly declared a policy of starving Gaza, just after October 7th. ' Defense Minister Yoav Gallant says he has ordered a “complete siege” of the Gaza Strip, as Israel fights the Hamas terror group. “I have ordered a complete siege on the Gaza Strip. There will be no electricity, no food, no fuel, everything is closed,” Gallant says following an assessment at the IDF Southern Command in Beersheba. “We are fighting human animals and we are acting accordingly,” he adds.'

You wonder why? That's odd. Maybe because the conflict in Gaza and the West Bank is the worst conflict at this moment. War crimes, and ethnic cleansing (let's leave out genocide for the moment) with the assistance of American money and weapons. And many of those students may very well have family ties with Gaza. You know, those families that have been erased indiscriminately with the help of 2000 pound American bombs. You should read up about official IDF policies.

'as has been made abundantly clear this administration doesent support the slaughter of innocent Palestinians' Thanks for making it abundantly clear that Biden is all talk no action. Delivering the weapons to commit war crimes, without conditions. Taking the mass graves near hospitals not serious at all, instead of supporting independent investigations let the IDF investigate. Which they have already stated they won't. Putin should receive a warrant by the ICC, but of course not the Israeli government officials. Biden is a disgrace, all the more because he's always portrayed as 'a decent man!', 'so empathetic!'. For Biden Palestinian children simply don't count. He deserves nothing but disdain, and certainly not a vote in November.

Thailand Customs to Apply VAT on All Postal Imports

I would imagine that f.i. Lazada sellers, and for some reason a lot of their goods come from China, will just add the vat to the price? -
Why the hush money case against Donald Trump is on shaky ground

It's a crappy article, with no basis for the assumed 'political animus'. -

Biden adds almost the same amount to the national debt, while flooding the economy with stimulus money, that of course added to inflation, while supply chains were still stuck. Btw, I couldn't stop laughing when he persuaded the Long Beach port to work 24/7, and was highly praised for that achievement. But I'm not American, I'm from Rotterdam. 😁 -

Compared to many western European countries the American legal system is not very good. Just look at the incarceration rate, with predominantly African Americans. Who are sometimes released after decades, because at long last it was found they were completely innocent. About Trump and the classified documents: it's not difficult to find Americans that stole classified documents, went to trial, got sentenced and sent to jail without further ado. Not so with Trump of course. Deference, servility to a former president? A two tier legal system for sure, not something to be particularly proud of. -
Do you mean that anyone who has supposedly committed crimes should best run for office so that law enforcement will let it go? I agree with your comments about the very slow speed of law enforcement here, and I'd like to add the one and a half year that Garland wasted to investigate Trump. The rest is of course the endless delays by Trump and his lawyers to avoid a trial, while in the meantime crowing that he's completely innocent. Funny.

And I'm not even on the left. Just fairly good at pointing out the Trumpeter nutcases. -

Unfortunately the 'hush money' trial seems to be the weakest of them all. The insurrection trial is to me the most important of all, because it goes to the heart of American democracy. Garland messed that up by twiddling his thumbs for a year and a half, and now, as could be expected, the Supreme Court is slowing things down so there'll be no trial before the elections in November. It's a complete demasque for the American legal and political system, that are so much intertwined. And I blame Biden for choosing Garland deliberately I have to assume.
