Actually Everton do more than most clubs and have one of the Premier League's most highly regarded community programs: Everton in the Community. More than 120 full time staff and 160+ volunteers doing work in health, employability, anti-social behaviour, crime, education, dementia, poverty, youth engagement, youth justice and disability. And of course loads and loads of sports programs. Yes, the areas around the grounds are poo-holes but Everton do fantastic work for the community. 120 full time staff is no small operation. It is, after all, "the people's club".
