Do you seriously belive that the kids would have used them, if there was seat belts installed?
So you are seriously suggesting there is no need for safety belts? Really?

Sent from my iPhone using Thaivisa ConnectNo but the vans are too old to meet safety requirements. Next they need to put a limit on vans transporting students to and from schools! I've seen vans as old as 40 years used for that purpose and with no goddamn seat belts!

Are they safe? of course not but at least you have the driver to use as a cushion or airbag in case of accident to help absorb some of the impact.

Now's the time Thailand needs him most I hope he will consider staying on as PM in order to help the people.

I predict that there is no way in hell he's not coming back as PM to guide the country into the future. PM for life! Enjoy the election.

When I was the same age I made my own way to and from school, which was about a 1 mile walk each way on top of flagging down a bus or taxi when I reached the main road.
When I was the same age I used to walk ten miles each way in the snow and going uphill!

Maybe not the safest situation to put your 9 year old daughter into. Flagging down motorcycle taxis no adult supervision. etc. Just asking for trouble. TIT

My wife also doesn't like to bargain and in fact doesn't even like to ask the price before service rendered. She's no business woman though she thinks she is.. also drives me nuts! Otherwise she's not expensive upkeep or anything like that, just doesn't like to bargain. Go figure..

CP Chicken group now wants to use there 7-11 business to do banking? Aren't the cues slow enough already?

SCB, BAY and BKK banks (and maybe other Thai banks) have branches in Vientiane. Not sure if you can get cash with your card, but I suggest they could assist you if you are a customer with them.
No, you cannot make withdraws and they can't help you. You can use the ATM in Laos but the fees are outrageous. Best to bring cash.

Yes, I also think it's a ban nok thing. They seems to be having a contest to get some attention by seeing who is the loudest. Also when on the phone they are often shouting, I guess to cover the distance between BKK and esan. It's several hundred kilometres, you know!

Great, now maybe they can get them to make a plea deal and supply the name of their supplier.

Yes, in fact, their numbers that are disproportionately high which is an indicator of how popular they are in Thailand. The west is not even close but they will still try to push the narrative that the gay "community suffers from a lack of recognition" and insist that "Thai society actively discriminates against them". blah blah blah. Fake news at it's finest.
