Based on the 'likes' awarded so far on that post, we have 21 law-abiding and tolerant members and either 3 or 7 digital pikeys.
There is no correct visa for a large group of foreigners (I use that term loosely)
If you are not married or retired, you are expected to buy an elite visa if you want to hang around for a few months.

It's not tentatively set for February, it was tentatively set for November and is delayed.

It's all the same - just one was prohibited the other wasn't.
Smoking cigarettes is not prohibited.
24 beaches in Thailand?
Don't you get it, it's a tourism scam

Good! No more digusting cigarette butts on the beaches!
Now, lets prohibit people from dumping their rubbish on the beach and then everything will be just perfect.
What's the difference between rubbish and cigarette butts?

Before the gloom and doom predictions, remember what happened when smoking was banned in pubs.
The outdoor smoking areas they made became the new social hive, doubt that will happen to the bus shelters here though!

If the situation is calm and procedures are followed, the junta would consider lifting the political ban, he added
The situation will not remain calm so the goalposts can continue to move.
Why did this twit get involved anyway, other than to show his nonchalance regarding the more pressing issue.

christ, how many of these people are there here. Looks like a huge business
Only a huge business if there are enough idiots to fall for it

Doesn't make any sense.
If these idiots give up their atm cards over a fake line message insinuating they were involved in a crime then they almost deserve to lose the money.
At what point do they sacrifice their pin numbers without realizing they are just giving money away?

As has been mentioned by others, they should check the serial numbers with the manufacturers to see who actually purchased the watches. Some are limited editions and the purchases are registered.
I think the article made it clear that there was only a basic requirement to determine that the ownership doesn't fall on the DPM and everyone would then go about their business as usual

What exactly is Thailand 4.0............
It's the sequel to Thailand 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0, although all previous versions never made it through beta testing.
Thailand 4.0 is also still in beta testing.

So please explain how do you do that, every restaurant, bar, tourist attraction will give you a VAT invoice? How about the small family shops?
Of course if you buy large products it's easy to get a VAT refund, how about expats?
Think before you write.
Don't forget the queue at point if exit. That alone almost renders the whole exercise unworthwhile.....

Prayut talking about homework just feels so right.
He should step down as illegitimate PM and do what he was born to do, a school headmaster preaching to a bunch of kids.
