I would hope that these two suspects are the actual culprits, and not some country bumpkins the police have persuaded to take the fall, in return for a large donation to their families. The police are under incredible pressure for results, so I guess anything is feasible.

Between Phukett and Pattaya, these two cities really now have a reputation of leading the World in foreigner tourist death rates, I think the tourist industry is heading for a massive downhill slide. Yes sir folks Thailand go to Pattaya, get shot, knifed, robbed, beaten to death, or take a swan dive off a condo building, or head to Phukett and get knifed, poisoned, bludgeoned beyond recognition, or drown, both towns have way too many mysterious deaths. Now all the travel agencies can advertise "Now Thailand Is really the land of mysteries, "Amazing Thailand"

Thailand better get its shit together soon or they will be facing empty rooms this coming high season. 60 year old women getting stabbed to death and kickboxers getting bashed in and then collusion by police to cover it up do not bode well with travel agents. Too many other nice places around, peple will take the alternative....

Not fishy, Slum and drug peaple all over the places. Also here in Pattaya. They are lazy to work, just stealing is easy. I got my own lesson. I got surRouded by 5 locals last Octobre. What chance do you hace without weapon? The problem is that we foreigners can't carry guns. In my home country i can do that. So we are just victims in this country. In my case police was useless.

Like I said in the other story of Aussie woman dying, after stabbed in the heart, it's time to start carrying some sort of weapon, farangs are easy picking for these ass_holes.

Now they are selling "Magic Mushrooms" openly in the bars on Phi Phi, dam_n lets all go to the island and get stoned on Shrooms, maybe smoke a little ganja, or trip on acid, or do meth, guess nothing is over the law here, legal when you can make money on it, and pay off the cops.

The owner of this bar, the American, must have forgot to pay his monthly under the table installment to the cops to look the other way, so they shut him down, that'll teach him the next time he opens a bar - whore house, or anyone else wanting to do the same, that they mean business.

it's like he is the only bar doing this in Pattaya, come on, just about every girly bar is doing the same openly.

Wasn't there a stabbing there recently? Something about the loss of face...

Foot-and-mouth disease infecting humans

Humans can be infected with foot-and-mouth disease through contact with infected animals, but this is extremely rare. Some cases were caused by laboratory accidents. Because FMD rarely infects humans, but spreads rapidly among animals, it is a much greater threat to the agriculture industry than to human health. Farmers around the world can lose huge amounts of money during a foot-and-mouth epizootic, when large amounts of animal capital is destroyed, and revenues from milk and meat production go down.

So in essence, what really needs to be checked closely are the cattle, not so much kids in school. In the bovine family, it can wipe out the whole beef & dairy herds very quickly in epidemic proportions.

I totally believe in owning a handgun, so I am showing you mine. I bought it legally, here in Thailand, after going through the proper channels to do so. Webfact, thank you so much for posting this article. It answers alot of questions I had about Thai gun law. Every time I asked on the forum I got a bunch of <snip> spouting off on how guns are evil rather than an answer to my questions.

I'm with you, our house is protected by Smith & Wesson, guns are only "evil" in the hands of crimes etc., I totally believe in owning a gun, if so desired, especially if the law does a extensive back ground check first, here and abroad
